I have 6.5 Creed and 6 Creed barrels but fingers crossed they drop the 223 and magnum stuff sometime this decade lol.

You need to then buy a LH torque wrench. There are very few torque wrenches that will tolerate being used the wrong way, (counter-clockwise) and they don’t measure torque when used that way. Somewhere out there there might be a wrench that measures torque both ways, but I don’t know of any.
Thank you for sharing your impressions and bolt lift numbers. I don’t have FOMO now and will stick with my AT-X that I got on sale. By the way, did you modify the mag so that it can reliably feed 6GT?

@@ryanrogers5435 great question! The axsa is a super cool rifle, no doubt. I think that is one of the baddest looking rifles on the planet. That being said, with the center to bore being so high, it’s not something I could compete with at a high level. So for that reason it wasn’t the rifle for me….but again, it’s a bad to the bone rig!!

I’ve owned 4 AI rifles and while they are fantastic, I can’t jump on board with the pricing. They are not worth 14k. They just aren’t. Can’t argue that “oh you can easily swap the barrel” when there are multiple options now that allow quick barrel changes. Back when you could snag an AX SA for under 6-7k, that made sense. Not anymore. Only thing keeping these guys in the game are people with too much money and mil/LE contracts.

If I had enough money to buy 350,000 rounds of match .308 (and the time to shoot it), I'd probably shell out the $10k for an AI rifle. But as it stands, I've never worn out one of my two Remington 700's, and they don't get babied.
And wroth every penny, I have 2 AI rifles, also a mk13 mod 5, and use the ai-atx chassis in a custom build gun… and aslo a barrett mrad but that’s not the point. The point is AI is awesome. Im sad I don’t have 4 of um, just 2 cuz I sold the other 2 and I regret it. Sad, I know.
The action doesn't match the price imo. I know its built like a tank and mine seems to shoot everything ive tried under .5 moa. But the lift is heavy and the bolt binds up if you dont straight push from behind. I can deal with it but i can also throw an impact action in a chassis and have a nicer rifle for less. I guess i still have mine because it says accuracy international on it lol ill go ahead and admit it. As far as bolt lift people online are usually getting 6-7lbs. Thought mine was broken. Now im thinking it is but so are most peoples? Lol
Push the bolt forward toward the barrel, not sideways. No clue how you’re binding a bolt body thats the same diameter the entire length, but on a two lug with a small body and raceways “cant”
@@gconnoyer well when you have a loose bolt and apply forward pressure the back right is the fulcrum point directing all the pressure to the front left of the bolt. Which makes it not slide forward like glass, but more like pushing your bolt through sand.
If you’re binding an AI bolt, you’re either doing it on purpose or your fundamentals suck very bad. The bolt lift should also be negligible with the proper cycling. Place your thumb behind the bolt onto the chassis and swipe your hand up like a knife hand. It will pop the bolt open without the reticle moving off target.

The AT and ATX are the same actions. The ATXC has some changes over the ATX. The ATX was just the AT action dropped into a good chassis by a company in the US. The ATXC was a revision to the ATX for Border Patrol (C - Contract) They made a few changes and included all the add ins that the ATX didnt include.
LOL. The AT and the AT-X were literally the exact same actions. Also, the AXSR platform is fairly well universally loved (except the price) and the AT-XC is just a short action version of that action.

@@453Balistic you really have two conflicting arguments here. A lot of PRS shooters are buying titanium actions for their lightweight hunting builds and set ups. Or the national rifle league hunting competitions where your rifle has to be under a specific weight. 12 lbs and 16 lbs depending on class. This video has an Accuracy International, which is a notoriously heavy action. For PRS competitions most guys are trying to go heavier. I’m not aware of anyone running any titanium actions at a match. Hopefully that clears things up.

I would be really interested to see you put a trigger cam on your scope and shoot it off barricade. Truly, I think it would surprise you but I’d love to see that video to see what the 150s do. Any way you’d be able to do that?

Heads up, don’t loosen screws with your torque limiter attached when you change the barrel. You’ll damage it and fix it sticks aren’t cheap!

The only rifle at that price is the AXSR.
