In the Uk we get a 123 which is xdrive and has MHT and gets to 60 in 6.3 seconds so not much slower than the 128i, it is down on power 218 bhp but sounds like a good mid range alternative. Of course in Australia they may introduce 128i or something similiar.
The price is outragous, especially because there is still a good few cars in this segment that offer similar or better performance for 20-40k cheaper, ok its not a new car, but really who buys new unless you're part of the 5%
Interior quality is a downgrade on the previous gen apart from nicer graphics on the screens. Exterior is a grower when seen in person. A bit like the F40 too
