Good on you Shuler! Our kids need a real education!
He did what he did but that has nothing to do with his legendary legacy! 👏🏾 I want to find these people talking shit and look for all the dirt they’ve done.
Agreed, but that can't be the ongoing excuse for people not to improve or be held accountable. I see a lot men just casually throwing "nobody's perfect" around to excuse serial cheating. Having some discipline, respect and integrity doesn't equate to perfection. Any man of faith that carries the gospel shouldn't be caught in extramarital activities. That's the problem in this community. Our leaders are not required to have any integrity. It's been like this for a long time too.
No one's perfect. The world remembers him for what he did for others not what he did in his personal life. Who will remember you? The guys at the corner?
It's the fact that his WIFE will remember all the heartache he put her thru that matters. Just like KS. He can be the man to y'all but he failed his wives and only child. Y'all so for the streets it's ridiculous
@@amberosby5438 it's the fact that he was an example to other blk men that cheating is okay and heffa dogs like u settle for a dude that wants more than one woman and u get in ur feelings behind the other female when it's the MAN that owes u faithfulness not her. So what MLK was saying that the Democrats was dirty and crooked, he put us in the hand's of the enemies, he was gonna change it when he realizes what he did. And it leak out to the enemies and the murder him just before he coulda change it, so it doesn't mean people being disrespectful toward him, cause it's the truth what he did but he didn't realize it untill he did it, already he was gonna reverse it if they haven't kill him
Preach Shuler!!! This is precisely the reason we don't have any modern day heroes and are moving backwards. Certain people in our community are always worried about the wrong things.
Flawed though he was, as far as I know, Dr King was the CLOSEST humanity (or at least modern humanity) will ever come to the example of Christ. This man was a genius, a leader, a speaker: a true renaissance man in every sense of the word. He was my hero growing up; I emulated him, so much I got into oratory because of it. Hell, when I was still in single digits I recited “I Have a Dream” before my stuffed animals. That’s how much he inspired me.
He was a MAN, not a god. He had a purpose, lived in that purpose and died on that purpose. He transitioned and evolved. He came into the realization that assimilation was NOT the way to go, as evidenced by his quote "I fear I have led my people into a burning building." He did the work. The little peons that say he was not great are not doing ANYTHING, they don't have a purpose nor light. Mrs King may not have said anything in public, innerstand there were discussions behind closed doors.
Yes Doctor Martin Luther King is the reason I made sure my four children graduated from high school and went to college what he did in his personal life is none of my business
I don't know what he did in his life and I don't wanna know, but what some are saying is what he say in his speech, that he didn't intended for that to happen this way, by putting us into the enemies hand's. Nobody isn't say nothing about his life living what he did in his personal like, just like you say his personal life is nobody business and that's true, So don't comment me back with disrespect comment on what I say, cause I have already got it in my comment, Cause I agree with you about people need to respect his personal life, whatever he had did or done in his personal life, only him can be Judged by the Creator.

In the words of Martin Luther King allies begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. The fact that he might’ve had an extra marital affair it doesn’t even matter what matters is what he accomplish as a human being for oppressed people
There is NO denying it, Dr. King was GREAT, but he was a man. Being a man means that he was imperfect and his imperfections weighed on him and his family. In the final analysis, I would say that Dr. King should be remembered as a man who was faithful to the mission that he was given, even unto death. He is proof that when your steps are ordered by God, not even your own numerous missteps can remove you from that path. Dr. King at one point had considered leaving the Civil Rights Movement because he knew that the FBI had gotten information on his affairs and was possibly going to leak it to try and discredit him and by association the Movement, but instead he continued to fight on. Sin is wrong and there is no denying that. I believe that Dr. King would be the first to admit that. But if everyone who sinned stopped their work, where would we be as a faith, nation, community, and your individual family. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone......
Thank you for sharing your wonderful words. We need to be more mindful about our black leaders. I agree with you. I’m always trying to instill these exact things to my grandchildren. Great job. Thank you again for sharing this.
I live in Chicago and had to go to Washington DC. We drove. And at every stop where we went to the restaurant, to the bathroom, to the gas station with white people... Then we got to DC, we checked into whatever hotel we wanted... I thought about Dr King and all our elders that made that possible for me!!! It's like breathing now, but at one time we couldn't have done any of that!

While he was an icon for his era and beyond, he was still just a man . . . and all men (and women) have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God!! Greatness is not achieved by how someone lived, but by how they touched lives - this man, Martin Luther King, touched a nation!!! Let that marinate in your spirit!!!
Dr. King was a great man and a hero. None of us is perfect, but if it wasn't for Dr. King and the people that marched with him, we would Not Have the freedoms that we have today.
(1 John 1:8) "If we claim to be without sin,we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." (John 8:7) "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Shuler you speaking the truth with this right here. Every year on Martin Luther King Day I always post on Facebook his legacy cause he made a difference in this world good or bad, and for someone to turn around and criticize something about his personal life is sad. Its one of the reasons why we as blacks are looked down on because we take one thing from someone who paved the way for us and we make it to where he or she was a failure. Thank you Shuler King for teaching our generation how we need to respect and honor those people who came before us cause we are walking in the vision they set for us. Whether or not it isn't what they expected we need to realize that we're the ones carrying this torch they left us. God bless you Shuler and keep up the good work

He didn’t pay for his sins. I was Assassinated because white people wanted him dead for fighting for Black people and bringing us together a unified us. He Was assassinated because he was a true leader and a great speaker. Martin Luther King Junior was assassinated because of racism this was not because of his own sin. Think of it this way. If he was just a Fornicator, he might still be alive, he might of died from a jealous man or woman, and we wouldn’t even know who he is.
Exactly!!!!! He was put on a pedistal he ought not be put on. And he was also jn a fraternity and 🌈 man wrote his speeches. We had no idea how bad our black/Brown brothers & sisters were treated!! Only as an adult, I later learned about the fight, even American whites fought & suffered during the civil right 60s! Good on you Shuler! Our kids need a real education!
Speak my brother Because you're speaking the truth. The only people, who speak against their own heroes.
Sad but true
Yes!
He did what he did but that has nothing to do with his legendary legacy! 👏🏾 I want to find these people talking shit and look for all the dirt they’ve done.
YES YEAH AND YUP.💯
Watch b Simone's podcast, that's who shuler is talking about
They have done absolutely nothing

Don’t usually comment, but amen to this brother Shuler! How arrogant it is to stand on his shoulders whilst attempting to nullify his work.

Anyone doing this should be made to be ashamed.
He who is without Sin....cast the first Stone!!! No one is perfect
🤡
I'm a Caucasian Martin Luther King was definitely a king most beautiful person of my time highly intelligent thank you Dr King❤❤❤❤❤
Preach Brother King 👑 .
No one's perfect. The world remembers him for what he did for others not what he did in his personal life. Who will remember you? The guys at the corner?

Please, nobody ain't talking bad about MLK, and just like y'all say he wasn't perfect, I just which that if our people is going to be as a leader, help us get our own bus to ride on without being mix without the white supremacists being on it, yes he fix it for our people to vote, but he didn't realize that he put his people into a burning building with the Democrats.
So what MLK was saying that the Democrats was dirty and crooked, he put us in the hand's of the enemies, he was gonna change it when he realizes what he did.
And it leak out to the enemies and the murder him just before he coulda change it, so it doesn't mean people being disrespectful toward him, cause it's the truth what he did but he didn't realize it untill he did it, already he was gonna reverse it if they haven't kill him
Dr. King was a prolific leader and speaker. New schoolers…SIT DOWN AND LEARN SOMETHING!
Amen my brother,
You said a mouthful
💜🙏🏾" Don't you EVER fix your face...!!!"...PREACH...TEACH!!! GETEM SHULER!!! 💪🏽💜
Mr King was the man back then and he the man still today. He got everything a girl wants 🖐🏾
Agreed
Young people need to stay in school and learn our true history and who wholeheartedly stood for us and fought for us all. God bless you Dr. King
I was twelve when he was killed!! Everyone was in shock, and couldn't believe it. My sister marched with him too!!! ☹️❤️
Well said Shuler. Social media has given everyone a microphone that many don't need. As you say Be humble.
WELL SAID MR. SHULER KING 💕!

Nobody isn't say nothing about his life living what he did in his personal like, just like you say his personal life is nobody business and that's true,
So don't comment me back with disrespect comment on what I say, cause I have already got it in my comment,
Cause I agree with you about people need to respect his personal life, whatever he had did or done in his personal life, only him can be Judged by the Creator.

My family and I thank God for Dr. Martin L. King for standing up for us to be able to come outside in the daylight 👐🏽
He was so serious and reserved until he started talking about getting Extra Cookie he set us up so bad that when he hit the punchline his lip moved BRAVO SHULER!

The king has spoken! No lie was told here. It’s disgusting what is done for shock value and clout. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Thank you, Shuler! The disrespect is out of control. These people running around being disrespectful towards our “Ancestors” as a whole is ignorant. No they were not perfect and they may not have been able to do certain things, but they wanted us to be treated fairly.
But we still not being treated fairly
Martin Luther King equals equality.
In the words of Martin Luther King allies begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. The fact that he might’ve had an extra marital affair it doesn’t even matter what matters is what he accomplish as a human being for oppressed people

YESSSSS Shuler! Get "em" together!
He got nobody together
AMEN!!!
I second that motion... may his LEAGASE continue...where is yours, by the way?..
Amen.

Let the Church say Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯💯
“Shut the hell up, sometimes” words to live by.

(1 John 1:8) "If we claim to be without sin,we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."
(John 8:7) "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
(Luke 11:23 New Living Translation) "Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me."

Shuler you speaking the truth with this right here.

You are talking wisdom in this video. I love it. He without sin cast the first stone. If you are human you have flaws. Judge lest ye be judged. We aren’t making an excuse but we are making a point. Like you said. Greatness comes with great trepidations. So glad you addressed this!!
He was brilliant in spite of his imperfections and that's what I will always remember about him and his beautiful family💯👏🏾❤️🤗👍🏾

I love Dr. ❤ MLK he open lots of doors for our people. He lead many marches until it cause his death. That's why black people are on TV today. Greatest black man who ever been beaten, dogs put on him, sprayed water on him etc. arrested many times doing the work for the people 👍. VERY GREAT MAN OF GOD HE SAW THE PROMISE LAND FEW HOURS BEFORE HIS DEATH. LORD TOOK HIM TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP.!!!!!!
You are speaking the truth 🙌 👏 💯
Martin payed for his sins " the wage of sin is death" and he payed for all of them so let the man rest.
So he deserved to be short for it? smh
what's this? 😳
And what about you.Beware you are not the judge.
