Yea I'm gonna have to figure out how to do this also if I don't change out the whole steering column. That was a really well done fitting of the controls to the Land Rover wheel. Can't wait to see how you trim everything up and blend together. Take it easy, Casey
Thanks Casey. Yeh, if you can use the whole Tesla steering rack and column that would be ideal. You'll need to make sure you can mount it in the correct position so you don't get bump steer in the Ranger.
Hi, Great videos! Im part way through a MB Sprinter 4x4 conversion but using the dual motor configuration. I'm just embarking on the steering wheel interface myself so it nice to see someone successfully completing this task. Grest job!
Really enjoy what you are doing. Found you because I was looking for a similar project as mine. 1989 Mitsubishi Montero, 2 door, mounting Model 3 in the center. I had already machined a solid diff shaft with tapered external keyed shafts before learning from you there was someone manufacturing a diff. I'm not swapping all Tesla parts like you, so our projects only have the motor in common, but its fun to watch what you are doing. Excellent work! Thanks.

Thanks! A sprinter is a great choice! Going to be a beast with dual motors! Look forward to following your progress. 👍

Hey thanks. I had to look up what a Montero was - we call them Pajero's here in Australia. Sounds like an awesome project you have there!
Next project you could fit up a Tesla body with a Landrover motor gearbox and differentials.
Oh gawd. That would be awful! 🤣
