Why not? We're watching tourney of the best players in the world. Why not enable it to full potential if coaching helps there

Reading your opponent, adapting to your opponent and enforcing set plays are all part of the game. If one isn't smart enough to analyse their opponent nor do they choose to work on doing so, that's on them.
This might be the only FG that allows coaching still. SF, MVC3, MK have long banned it.

But sometimes, you can't see clearly what to do when you're in the match, and an external feedback can help you get back in the zone. Coaching has always existed in almost every sport, I don't see the issue there.

i personally have nothing against arslan but i have a friend who works in the twt/fgc and the stories i’ve heard about arslan and pakistani players are rather terrible. lots of attitude problems, ill-mannered tendencies, and overall unsportsmanlike behavior especially off camera. probably people who have seen them live and off camera see how they are and thus hate on them. i personally don’t root for anybody in that region too but it’s for other reasons
