East Tampa Transportation Talks: MLK Blvd Presentation

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is analyzing four corridors in East Tampa to identify potential short-term (1-2 years) and long-term (3-5 years) aesthetic enhancements and safety improvements.
These projects include data collection, development of conceptual plans, Roadway Safety Audit (RSA) desktop review, and planning level costs.
Public engagement will consist of establishing corridor teams, special presentations, and small group meetings.
Study corridors:
- Hillsborough Avenue from I-275 to 56th Street (3.5 miles)
- Nebraska Avenue from I-4 to Hillsborough Avenue (2.1 miles)
- Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from I-275 to 40th Street (2.4 miles)
- 40th Street from I-4 to Hillsborough Avenue (2.1 miles)
