I can't tell you that. There might also be different DVD versions. The Australian one came out last summer, the American one will be released in Februar but I have no way of knowing if their cintent is identical. I'm only a fan of the show like you.

I was made aware that, for example, the opening scene when Eliza fights with the prostitute over her glass eye, was 20secs longer in the UK than in the US. Overall running time was longer in the US than in the UK.

There is unfortunately no European DVD release yet, only an Australian and a US version. I assume you purchased the Australian one, which is RC4 (but are compatible with RC2 players).
