Winter Greenhouse Mushroom Cultivation Montage

- Quick montage of the different types of oyster mushrooms i grew in the greenhouse during December. The greenhouse is heated by a wood burner and stays around 60 F. The mushrooms grow dense and with more color in the cold. Some mushrooms like pink oyster or golden oyster wont do well in these temperatures. I didnt use any added humidity in the greenhouse, it has plants that help maintain a suitable environment for the mushrooms. I just cut the bags and let them go and they did great.

Is that all on your hardwood and bran mix? Have you ever tried oysters on softwood? I saw a vid of oak and spores, he did a side by side with soft and hardwood.
Yes, I only use hardwood, I have not used softwood.

I live in washington state and its hard to get cheap fuel pellets that are hardwood..

What's the temp and humidity levels in your greenhouse?
