For certain scenes in my Cyberpunk RPG long long ago, I used this track and Public Enemy's Chanel zero. Works REALLY WELL for the Cyberpunk feel and aesthetic.

I saw this movie in the theatres and pretty much immediately went across the street to the closest record shop I could find and bought the soundtrack of this movie for this song alone. That was the first time I ever bought a sound track (one of only 2 I ever got, 'the Fear' being the other one for the Morty theme). This was actually a really good movie, I thought, I always enjoyed post apocalyptic type thrillers. The director of this movie also made another one of my favourites, called 'Dust Devil', which was a great atmospheric thriller, imho, with amazing cinematography.
@@SarahC2 hope you enjoy... I love that movie. It's so atmospheric imho. So many beautiful scenes. I want to go to Namibia one day to see that grand canyon type area. The scene with the burning house and car donuts is just so trippy, and the "fill the bowl" scene.. Will have to rewatch soon...
+Crowley9 I've wanted that for years. Like "Watch Dogs" with more 80's fetishism and a way better soundtrack. Pil, Puppy, 242, Front Line, KMFDM, Thrill Kill Cult, some power noise for good measure. Kinda watch dogs meets brutal legend with a lot of William Gibson.
make that the entire soundtrack, as the OST is super duper. in fact i can hear some of the it in fallout 3. they clearly liked this film and its soundtrack.
It was a good story, not an over complicated one but that's not a bad thing, for example Predator. It had awesome visual,s .. and the webbly wobbly song.
Lawrence Of Canadia It was taken from a short story called SHOK! that was featured in the British weekly sci-fi comic book called 2000ad. The same comic book that Judge Dredd is from. Ive read that theyre also trying to make a Rogue Trooper movie now too. Hopefully thats true. 2000ad is a great comic book. Not as good as it was back in the 70's and 80's, but still good.
Never seen the movie as it didn't do so well back in the day, IIRC, but I love this track. It is also the end track for the System Shock remake (video game), which is what brought me here. Maybe I'll give Hardware a go all these years later.
Absolutely love this film. Its weird but in a brilliant way, definitely trippy and some scenes are genuinely beautiful. Honestly unforgettable, i love the fact that over time its found a cult following, totally deserved ❤️👍

Richard Stanley is a legitimate Wickin user. An absolute masterpiece of a movie. Mo's final scene.... Oh my God. Cinema at it's very best. It took me weeks to even process that. Death, the final frontier......
I love this dire movie and song from the film. The robot is like Short Circuit crossed with Terminator. I also love how all the effects back then were not all CG, but actual props and models. So much cooler even on a small budget if they were creative.
I saw the movie with a friend in San Diego when it first came out. He hated it but I liked it and the soundtrack as well. Hardware actually introduced me to Public Image Ltd. I watched it again for the first time and it has aged well, imo. I'd love to hear what Dylan McDermott has to say about the movie. Who knows, maybe someday it will get a Blu Ray release with bonus material.

It's also a comic book adaptation. It's from a story featured in the UK long running favorite 2000 AD mostly known for Judge Dredd

This movie was pretty much just a long music video compilation with common actors, theme, and story.
It's now become a sort of Cyberpunk anthem, being featured in the best cyberpunk movie (Hardware) and the best cyberpunk game (System Shock).
