Not sure your title matches the content... 🤔 Box says 70mph and you hit 70mph, so I don't see the "lie". Only thing I wish TC would do is include the speed pinion as do ARRMA. And I do remember on my very first Kraton review the truck came with a optional pinion included but you still had to buy another to reach the claimed speed. I mentioned that if any company was going to claim a speed on the box (to lure in buyers), then it should do that out of the box. From V2 onwards, speed pinions have been included in ARRMA cars and they reach or exceed the claimed speeds. In your case, you blew the tyre, but this was done after a bash video that may have damaged it and caused it blow during your run. Not just that, but I see the wheels are also muddy and that may have also unbalanced the wheels potentially causing the tyre to blow out. Had you done this test prior to bashing the car, I don't know if the same thing would've happened. Furthermore, you have changed tyres on a lot of cars to achieve certain speeds, including the Mojave in this video, yet I don't see you complaining about those changes. 🤔 With all that said, my tyres on the Radix6 blew out also during my bash video, so I'd more upset that in today's market RC car companies still can't use a decent glue on tyres, especially on fast cars like this. It's been an issue across various RC brands for years and very few have got it right. But to complain you had to use different tyres after you belted the car at you bash spot and had dirty and possibly damaged & unbalanced wheels as a result... I don't think you have much of a case there. 😏 Anyway, super jealous of your runway there and I'm surprised you're not using it to do massive 150mph passes with a Limitless or Infraction. Wish I had a runway like that near me. 😁
I've used the Radix as an example (I love the thing), but as I say at the start, and in the description, it's a common occurrence with most manufacturers. As for the 70mph..... I had to cut the gear cover, add a 22t Pinion (thats not included), and then change the wheels (even at 70, the stock ones would be useless as they balloon too much). So to slap 70mph on the front of the box is just a lot of BS. On their Website it says 60mph...so why the need to put 70? (The EXB Mojave is a Roller.... no need to prove any made up speed with that haha) I do agree about the tyre coming unglued, but still, you're not keeping that thing straight at 70 with them wheels/tyres. My Limitless is in progress.... as soon as the weather pics up, that thing is getting sent!!!! :)

Had you done this test prior to bashing the car, I don't know if the same thing would've happened. Furthermore, you have changed tyres on a lot of cars to achieve certain speeds, including the Mojave in this video, yet I don't see you complaining about those changes. 🤔
With all that said, my tyres on the Radix6 blew out also during my bash video, so I'd more upset that in today's market RC car companies still can't use a decent glue on tyres, especially on fast cars like this. It's been an issue across various RC brands for years and very few have got it right. But to complain you had to use different tyres after you belted the car at you bash spot and had dirty and possibly damaged & unbalanced wheels as a result... I don't think you have much of a case there. 😏
Anyway, super jealous of your runway there and I'm surprised you're not using it to do massive 150mph passes with a Limitless or Infraction.
(The EXB Mojave is a Roller.... no need to prove any made up speed with that haha)
I do agree about the tyre coming unglued, but still, you're not keeping that thing straight at 70 with them wheels/tyres.
My Limitless is in progress.... as soon as the weather pics up, that thing is getting sent!!!! :)
