I feel like it would be a cool idea if it randomly played these versions of the song, without telling people beforehand. I feel like it would make Victor the organist feel more lifelike with how no two performances would be the same twice.
"When hinges creek in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candle lights flicker, when the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present. Practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. Welcome Foolish Mortals to the haunted mansion. I am your host. Your Ghost Host."
Did you guys know that a majority of the music from the iconic ride, The Haunted Mansion, was played backwards?! The foyer was played backwards by an expert organist, Gaylord Carter, to make it sound otherworldly to match the discord that Buddy Baker wanted in the foyer music! Also, part of the background music of grim grinning ghosts including the trumpet, jazz organ and flute part were played backwards to make it sound otherworldly to match the discord that Norman (Buddy) Baker wanted in the foyer music! They also used an out-of-tune oboe for the part in the background music for grim grinning ghosts and Buddy Baker told all the voice actors to act like they were mentally insane when speaking and singing! :D
Your cadaverous pellard betrays an aura full boarding, almost as this sensoing quieting metamorphosis, is this haunted room actually stretching or is it your imagination? Hmmm. And consider this dismaying observation, this chamber has no windows and no doors, which office you just chilling challenge to find a way out, of course there’s always my way
It's NOT easy to listen to organ demos for dark rides like The Haunted Mansion these days, because World of Disney has managed to sell the organ player that we see in the Ballroom scene of the dark ride mentioned here.
Daniel Shull They had a few park references in there. Supposedly Figment from Journey into Imagination was hiding in one of the scenes, but I didn't see it.
The organ music heard on the ride, and in the final commercial soundtrack, is fine, and incorporates the best elements of what you hear here. Plus, this track is way too long.
When you say "creepy circus carnival music", I'm reminded of some song called "Carnival Cat", but I can't remember if that's the full title or not. Nonetheless, it sounds cool.
You see, I'm into the paranormal, ghosts, demons and all that jazz and also really into mansions so seeing both of my favorite things collide into each other brings me a ghoulishy glorious delight! 👻
Alexandre Moonwell in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter that much does it? With simple reasoning it’s enough to guess that that’s what the artistic direction wanted. Looks like you just wanted a reason to show off that you know the difference. It really doesn’t matter that much man... it’s a ride from the 50s.

These two segments are heard in the ballroom organ on the ride and they play at the same time.

why are they putting a church organist in the attraction whereas this theme was played on a theater organ ?
