Don't delay...do a reaction to Nightwish's tribute to Pink Floyd's High Hopes song. - Nightwish - High Hopes (End Of An Era DVD) [HD] - The whole band, especially Marko, blows the original out of the water.
This performance just feels like a warm hug. Especially when Marko and Floor sing together.

What a perfect way to break up and slow down the pace of an epic show. BTW - Marko was asking if the fans would sing along with the chorus. Awesome!
I don't recall exactly what he said but it was something like "if I sing this, will you sing it with me? - You will? Ok, lets go." It's not an exact translation (I don't speak Finnish, but something like that). Marko is one of the very few singers who can claim Floor is/was his backup singer. If you're gonna sing with Floor, you gotta be something special.
I think Marco has one of the best male voices I've heard in metal and when he drops into less metal it really comes out

Many people miss that he takes lead a lot in songs with Floor. Concentrating on Floor sometimes makes people miss that. You saw it in Devil and Slaying.
Try also, Song of Myself from Wacken 2013, my no 3 NW song from which I extracted his second entry as my ringtone so I could keep hearing it, and my No 1 The Poet and the Pendulum from Wembley 2015.
He really does. His voice has quickly become a favorite of mine, everything from tone to technical skill. He's a special musician. Thanks for the recommendations! I'll check em out! :D

I absolutely love Marko. His voice just calms my nerves lol. One of my favorite Marko performances is with his own band Tarot and the song Tides from the Undead Indeed DVD. I never get tired of that one. If you haven't heard it, you should check it out

Well, this "sea shanty" song is perfect for Marko "The Viking".
And, well, having Floor as your backup vocalist, you know you are a Legend, that Marko unquestionably is !!!
Floor steps back out of the spotlight during a lot of songs. Guitar solos, Marko singing, Troy playing the pipes, whatever it is, Floor steps back from the mic out of the spotlight, while the others have their moment. Floor is a team player. She has said on multiple occasions that Tuomas makes Nightwish run, not her.

For the best vocal performance I suggest song Tides, live (Undead Indeed) by his band Tarot. Also, from his latest project, Pyre of the Black Heart, there are 3 singles... Stones, Voice Of My Father, Dead God's Son.
