- The All Blacks are one of modern sports' most successful sporting teams. Following a tough 2022 season, the team embarked on their journey to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. Follow the team's journey as they faced challenges at every corner, discovered new stars, celebrated legends, and ultimately united a country.
'In Their Own Words 2' is the series that looks back on the All Blacks 2023 season. The full series will be launched on Sunday 2nd June at 7pm NZT. SA fans can be combative on social media…but something that maybe isn’t so obvious to outsiders, is that South Africans LOVE the All Blacks. We love the Springboks more, but we’re obsessed with rugby and we recognise that in NZ fans. They’re our biggest rival but if you truly love rugby, it doesn’t matter if he’s playing for your biggest rival…you can’t watch Christian Cullen run and not enjoy it. Many SA boys have grown up pretending to be DC, McCaw, Nonu, Cullen, Kronfeld and of course Lomu. There’s no better feeling for SA fans than beating New Zealand because we know how good they are, but we still support them over any other team. Long may this beautiful rivalry continue, because the best rugby you will ever watch is an SA vs NZ test match.
That respect runs both ways and we feel it from our SA fans!

Amazing series! I was here when you guys put out the first series of this at start of 2023 for the season before! What I can say! It’s right up there with chasing the sun! Amazing insight into the abs! So proud of the boys of what they went through in 2022 and 2023 and almost having it in the final , technically played better while being 14 men, massive respect hopefully 2027 we get there
I hope we never see England Match officials control a WC final ever again. Nothing good comes from it when they're in charge.☹️
