When Buffy died AFTER Faith was called, no new Slayer was called because the line ENDS WITH FAITH - the true Slayer. All the Slayerettes? Still not Slayers from the original line. Buffy and Faith are the only true Slayers with Faith being the current/last one.
This is far and away one of the best tribute videos I've ever seen (if not THE best). Perfect song, near perfect editing, as a veteran of all 4 shows this definitely won't be the last time I watch this.

My opinion on Giles has soured more and more the older I've gotten. He didn't give a damn about Faith just like everyone else - she was a kid, on her own, with NO ONE but a past full of abuse and neglect. He didn't offer her a place to stay, NOTHING. Faith was left to fend for herself and find her own place to stay (a shit motel in the bad part of town) and couldn't afford (the room was $13 a day and Faith was dodging the manager because she didn't have the cash - So how was she eating?!) He used her as a way to protect Buffy and offer her up on the chopping block so Buffy could go off and live the life "she deserved". No one seemed to care if Faith was living the life SHE deserved. So was Giles a liar? Hell yes he was. He was worse than that - A hypocrite.
Now when a non-Whedonite asks me why these are my favorite shows, I finally have a video to point them to. This is just... astounding. And at this point, I'm speechless. Amazing job.
@spiceymusic A messiah is a redeemer figure who is foretold in religious scripture. Connor had all those prophecies about his birth and that he would bring either destruction or creation with him. I thought he was one of the more suitable figures for the messiah part. Just out of interest, who would you have put instead?

This is an amazing, amazing video. I'm not even sure I like the song, but it just fits so perfectly with this that I don't mind. Anya talking in the middle is perfection. But my only complaint is the lack of Cordy scenes! There are a few... Just not many :P But that's so incredibly minor that it really doesn't matter or detract from the video as a whole. Amazing, amazing work.

@lauramargerie Honestly, it was kind of a process of elimination. I knew I wanted Giles in it, but I couldn't really fit him anywhere else without sacrificing another character who deserved it more. And plus, he often lied or did morally questionable things for the greater good. I think it's one of the best qualities of his character tbh.

Not really. :P I don't really like the idea of Buffy slaying vampires aboard Serenity whilst Echo is imprinted as a backup singer in the infirmary (Which is now, obviously, the imprint room). Then again, it would be fun to see Buffy, River and super-imprint Echo take on a hoard of vampires, revears and butchers. Maybe Illyria could join in and whoop some zombiefied ass.
