You seem to really like this game 😅
Always top notch content! 😊
It just hit me, instead of playing the game, I watch a man reacting to a man playing the game...
Wouldn't it be fun to react on Shadybunny reacting on Jeef? 😁
Just how we watch soccer players or analysts. There is joy to be achieved on watching a job well done.
Is this tiktok content
That's often how education works. If you study literature you read the works of great authors, then somebody with experience in the field lectures and holds open discussion on somebody else's work. Shady just happens to be both an author and a professor (to extend the metaphor).
If it helps I have never even opened battlegrounds lol
Just by watching, it made me feel stressed, I would have stick with the undead for the whole game to have a safe win 😂😂😂
I know it's hard for a general player to accept the skill high level players like jeef has by saying luck. But it is not just luck. it also involved some form of pattern recognising & your brain has to pick that up. That + the ability of good decision making makes the difference with others.
Even players like Shadybunny or RDU's calibre are ahead of your general player. It's hard to digest, but it is what it is. You can play so much to diminish that gap where you can memorize & go to auto mode to a degree where you reduces your bad decision. But you can not attain that level unless you are improving your abilities to recognise patterns & decision making.
Totally agree. But I think it is extremely obvious that this is the case. I refuse to believe that these players who think its all luck actually exist. It should be Impossible to be THAT retarded. Like even a Person who hast never touched the game can tell top Players are strictly better If they know basic Math. Its just a coping mechanism for people with a fragile Ego that dont want to accept that they suck.
Home just pivoted from undead to elementals/greymane to infinite zephyris to infinite braggert stats
What a wild game! I hope you showcase more of these incredibly rare lines in highroll games
Definitely do more of these!
A free buddy every turn is so freaking insane
One reason that Jeef might of wanted golden knight instead of golden summoner is so that the attack from knightbane goes on a minion with some health.
That was insane.
Thanks for the explanation. It clearly demonstrated the skill level difference between top players and amateurs like me :)
"You can see what is about to unfold."
Me: *sees Brann getting added to hand*
*checks board*
Oh. Oh no. Ohhhh nooooooo.
Ok this makes sense now
My best day in BGs wouldn't even come close to Jeefs worst day.
I hate the flashing quest thing its like im playing a minnigame trying to read it 😂
How’s does his animations go so quick, I feel like when I play I would get animation locked
I want to do this so bad.
“first love the video shady keep it up”
The fact that he bought the Wraith was an eye opening moment for me on how terribly balanced this game really is. That should not have been right. That feels awful.
I play bg for a few months and then stop for a year, sometimes more.
But for some reason since last buddy patch until now im hooked to it i play 3 games at least per day and most of my youtubr history is shadybunny and kripp 😂. I dont know but i feel the game so awesome maybe i miss some golden times for bg idk tbh
How so, it's not like Wraith was bad card before lmao
And staying with Undead would more than likely result in him not ending in first place.
Recycling Wraith opened the doors for a potential Greymane/Rock-Rock/Tethys board which would've been initially weaker than his Undead board but ultimately would've scaled better.
@@alysondavy2485 I think that's what he is saying. Wraith/Elementals are too strong when they are strong enough to prepare a pivot even though you already have a undead build with multiple 6 drops on your board. Or maybe Undead are too weak. Either way, terribly balanced if the correct play is to buy a 4 drop at that point.
All points made here are valid imo. But there lies the fact that just the mere ability to pivot into an entirely different comp in the late game signals that elementals scale faster and better than most other tribes.
I’m sitting at 9k mmr. Definitely miles away from where Jeef is skill wise, but I’ve seen players pull off elemental pivots time and time again just to scale indefinitely.
Just to add, just getting your draw engine going, which usually is just Wraith, lets you start cycling indefinitely so you hit Brann and Rock Rock.
Just having tons of rolls lets you hit triples consistently, which is much easier to do with elementals because of Elemental of Surprise.
Having the entire synergy based on generating the same tribe over and over again which rewards you by generating triples along the way consistently is a bit toxic, but ultimately balanced by the fact that more often than not, elementals are pretty trash in the early and mid game.
BESINDEWOLD
Jeef is the biggest nerd in BG.
i normally watch yt vids on 1.25x, but i almost had to watch that one on 0.75x to try to begin to understand whats happening😮
This was uploaded a few weeks ago I think?
Yeah
Didnt the summoner lower the odds of winning?
No. The summoner counters scam build
@@MooMooTheCow24 so yes? 😅
@@anderandersson5229 how is it yes? I’m confused
If the odds are low there is a high likelyhood it will happen
I don’t have the skill to play elementals lol
Golden braggart golden bran is doubled three times, so two cubed. So 8 times the stats
2 times 3 gives u 8? Jesus christ man
I feel like that was just a long about way to win a game that he could've won a couple turns earlier. I am sure he just wanted to do the combo since it's fun.
Not really, he Just Made the strongest possible Board. Even tho much less would have probably sufficed he maximized his Chance to win. Winning as fast as possible is the wrong approach in Most cases.
the switch to elemental clearly only worked because everyone else had way worse stats. so generally really bad play...
It's possible but also worth considering one of if not THE best player in the world might just be doing something it's hard for the rest of us to understand. Getting 18k-19k MMR multiple times isn't something one does if they're making too many mistakes.
"Generally", sure. It's a technical decision using the *specific* game's circumstances. He had a self scaling, high power board early -- you don't follow the 'generally good' play when you're in this position.
Really bad play doesn't exist at 12k mmr. But you can get really unlucky with the cards. No mmr will save you from that.
Why people don't want to see that undead would became a trash board 2 turns from the moment Jeef started transitioning? He went for elementals not just because there was a good opening for that, but also because he was getting ready for Uber late game, where 200atk undead with less than 50 HP are too easy to counter.
He probably decided it was okay because the lobby wasn't doing so good.
love how you acted and commented game like you havent seen it. nothing slimy here

"That's why I don't like to 100% study every turn of the game. This is fun for me to still get surprised by that." It sounds like he admits he's seen the game which is probably how/why he chose it. He also said it's a week old at the start so if he did see it then, he probably doesn't remember it. Doesn't seem like calling him slimy makes sense when he explains everything you missed.
Weird comment man
