- Adekunle Gold swapped Lagos for Austin during SXSW and #poppedintothetreehouse to perform a live version of his new single "Before You Wake Up."
In 2015, Adekunle Gold released his debut studio album "Gold," which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.
Since then, he has gone from strength to strength with the release of his sophomore album "About 30" in 2018, amassing a few million Instagram followers along the way.

His videos are mostly known for their beautiful authentic looking aesthetic, without the usual "bling-bling" we're bombarded with by other artists. His voice and music are also pure Gold. We're truly blessed in Africa to have such talent. He's not alone. There many others like him from West, East and Southern Africa. It feels great and beautiful to be an African.
