What a beautiful strong willed young lady. She has a fire inside her to live just like her fiery red hair. I don't have kids of my own, but I have twin 6 year old nieces I love just like my own. This kind of hit me close to home. Great to see she has pulled through and found a way to keep on playing the sport she loves so much.

girls soccer has one of the highest concussion rates. She needs to be extreme careful. Protective gear can't fully stop a concussion, but it can reduce some of the impact of the concussion happening.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Perhaps she should play futsal or one of those indoor competitions where the ball is not allowed to go higher than the waist instead. I wish her the best though and hope she is okay.
