Check out some Byzantine, they're pretty tight ass well. I know these guys personally, they're from my area here in West Virginia. The band is all new members now, since their 5th album, except the singer. I know all the original members and new ones pretty well. They first got noticed back in the early 2000's by Lamb of God, who helped them get signed by Prosthetic Records. But things happened with the label and within the band and caused them to break up for awhile but eventually got back together to put out a couple more albums. But things happened again and they broke up another time. And that's when the singer picked up new members and started over on their 5th album "To Release Is To Resolve." Which by the way is a killer album. Then they released "The Cicada Tree" after getting noticed by Metal Blade Records, in which whom they are signed with now. But check out all of their albums, starting with the first and going all the way through. They are a band that's been unbelievably talented, whether it's with the original members or the new. I believe you would like them if you like Lamb of God.
Grace has to be one of the most underrated songs by LoG and I rarely see people give it the props it deserves. That whole album has some tremendous guitar work
its one of the best but every single comment section about LOG all the comments are about how grace is underrated lmfao i doubt its actually underrated now its more overrated
It's kinda opposite for me, my fretting hand is pretty weak, whereas my picking arm is pretty decent, so getting the pattern right on ruin is not a big deal for me, but to have smooth transition between the frets on hourglass is terrifying painful for me.
I thought drop D was heavy.... but now days all this djent metal is In some sort of Drop b tuning makes it more sludgy...I prefer drop D it sounds tighter can play more intricate riffs
Grace is one of the most difficult songs, just because it’s super fast and most of the riff is played on one string. My respect to their bass player, who plays the same part.
LOG guitar riffs are wicked to listen to as part of the band for sure but I never appreciate how technical some of the stuff is until I SEE someone play it
The hardest part of 11th hour is the breakdown. I've been able to play the entire song for 2 years now but there are still times that i can't play the breakdown at full speed
As someone who has spent the last 4 months learning to play guitar strictly with Lamb of God songs across every album, this video is such a 'breath of fresh air' to watch. Wonderful job on the songs you selected, plus it's beautiful how you arranged and mixed them all together. [:=
Been learning more lamb of god as of late, the Rhythm feels like a tongue twister for your hands lol. Satisfying as hell when you get it sounding right
Shadow Mantra Steve these condemn the hive and Bury me under the sun are two little known gems xD my band use to cover these two and it would always make me laugh when ppl would be like "what album were those on?" 😂😂
dont forget another nail in your coffin, thats a HUGE gem that in my opinion is better than condemn the hive. literally another nail in your coffin might be LOG’s best riff/outro
Cant believe I missed that, I havent listened at LOG that much before this video so these were all the recommended songs I got and ones that I found online :o
I wrote that on the comments during your live video of the making of. ehehe. that's not a well known song, but the guys say that on the video, and they even look at each other while playing that part! lamb of god is the shit :)
Okay. This is a great video. Thank you for getting straight to it. No unnecessary intro or three minute call for us to "like" or "smash that subscribe button." All metal. Sounded great, looked great. BOOM.
Iced Earth hardest songs on rhythm guitar, plis! I know they're are not a trash metal band, but Jon Schaffer is one the greatest rhythm guitar players ever!
As the palaces burn was a great stylistic interested for me growing up playing guitar. Their stuff is basically all pretty easy but so bad ass and such a great style.
Brilliant playing, just starting to look at learning some LoG and I’m fast figuring out that BPM isn’t the determining factor for difficulty! (Vs Big4 thrash type stuff). Great job!
Hourglass and blood of the scribe I can play easily, but I find it just impossible to play the faded line (at all) and still echoes (correctly and clean). Another one that I just can't do it clean is ghost walking.
I dig the order of the songs and riffs you chose. Funny how alot of Lamb of God songs lead into each other in a way. The Adler Bros shred for sure guitar and drums are so rythmatic. They complement each other well, kinda like the Van Halen bros... or even Dimebag and Vinnie Paul lol. I love metal and always will! 🤘
Hello Karri would you like to play some HARDEST. Sepultura songs? That will be great! Thank you. I really enjoy watching your video’s!! Greatings from Holland. 👍🏽
That section of ruin didnt seem like the hardest part of the song but your a exellent guitarist you are doing this with what seems like no effort. Sign of a expert of the cords.
Blood of the scribe is such an underrated log song. That chorus riff is so beautiful.
blood of the scribe is a killer song
I feel the same about Grace. No one ever talks about it or hear it pop up on people's playlists, but it's such a badass jam
Under rated? I think it's their best.
Ashes of the Wake is a masterpiece from start to finish!
One of the heaviest breakdown in the history of metal
Honestly LoG's rhythm guitar is more impressive than most metal bands's solos.
Kenny Gates ya man Groove Metal is pretty kick ass like that at times
100%

dying fetus
Agreed!
Grace has to be one of the most underrated songs by LoG and I rarely see people give it the props it deserves. That whole album has some tremendous guitar work
Reclamation is more underrated
You're right. Wrath was what got me into Lamb of God. And it's the same album that keeps me coming back to relisten.
The whole "Wrath" is criminally underrated.
its one of the best but every single comment section about LOG all the comments are about how grace is underrated lmfao i doubt its actually underrated now its more overrated
Hourglass vomit riff looks very difficult yet when you attempt its easy. With the ruin one its the exact opossite
The riff after that vomit part is insanely difficulty
thats true, it's only difficult for the first 5ish atempts (it's a pretty impressive and fast riff nonetheless haha)
It's kinda opposite for me, my fretting hand is pretty weak, whereas my picking arm is pretty decent, so getting the pattern right on ruin is not a big deal for me, but to have smooth transition between the frets on hourglass is terrifying painful for me.
Really? I struggle with hourglass still but got ruin on my first atttempt? Never found any of ruin to be hard

Man. Lamb Of God makes their songs sound so heavy even though they're in drop d
Dustin Platt drop D used to be a heavy tuning 😂
I thought drop D was heavy.... but now days all this djent metal is In some sort of Drop b tuning makes it more sludgy...I prefer drop D it sounds tighter can play more intricate riffs
Check out Dillinger Escpae Plan if you haven't already. Those dudes are heavy as fuck at times, and they mostly play standard.
A lot of cannibal corpse is in standard tuning. All depends on what you do with it
Nowadays it's drop A
Grace is one of the most difficult songs, just because it’s super fast and most of the riff is played on one string. My respect to their bass player, who plays the same part.
Campbell is a really underrated metal bassist.
Mark and Willie are relentless and you did a fantastic with these covers. Thanks for the video
Thanks man! \,,/

The hardest part of 11th hour is the breakdown. I've been able to play the entire song for 2 years now but there are still times that i can't play the breakdown at full speed
I know the song for years, flawlessly. Except for that small bridge section. It scares the shit out of me
I can play everything except that weird fast part at the very end
@@brunocosta6849 Are you talking about the little part right before the breakdown? I've never been able to figure that part out.
Honestly, you should have just put omerta in there for the shits and gigs
Hah Ill need to check that song out :D
@@KarriHanninen it's the easiest LoG song, so that's the "shits and gigs" lol
Idk man that song’s pretty hard ;)
Every single LoG riff is a fucking essence of brutality and genius!
LOG riffs are so great! \../
Max Raven the riff is song itself!
As someone who has spent the last 4 months learning to play guitar strictly with Lamb of God songs across every album, this video is such a 'breath of fresh air' to watch. Wonderful job on the songs you selected, plus it's beautiful how you arranged and mixed them all together. [:=
Thanks man, LOG songs are really a fun workout! \,,/
Loved the fact that you didn't break the riffs into individual parts but instead played it like a medley. Great stuff.
Dude your tone is on point
More guitarists need to do countdowns like this where all the songs are in sequence, nothing broken up. Make it like one song.
Thanks a lot for the comment man :) \,,/
THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY BEING IN TUNE!
Been learning more lamb of god as of late, the Rhythm feels like a tongue twister for your hands lol.
Satisfying as hell when you get it sounding right
Nailed it!!!! It was nice to see you recording it!
Agree, only like 5-10 of us out of 13 billion! /w\ /w\
Thanks! And thanks for being there to see it! :)
The Subtle Arts Of Murder And Persuasion at 03:06 has an insane riff
And the easiest one is definitely OMERTA!!!
Very few can say that we are there when this epic thing was recorded
Agree, only like 5-10 of us out of 13 billion! /w\ /w\
Thanks for being on the stream! :)
Lol
We are the special ones
I was there :D
It's amazing how the rhythm guitar works on LoG. You can see everytime Mark is continuing with the look at Randy, they are an awesome guitar team!!!
Thats true man! \../
Randy is the vocalist
@@tenzing2090 Yeah you are right, I mean Willie
Hourglass sounds like Now you've got something to die for without chorus to me :D
Flawless. I don't even like Lamb of God, but I know their riffs are not easy at all and can only admire your precision in playing them.
Thanks man!
Way easier than u think
chinglong bong care to elaborate?
Idk they're pretty easy aha
@@KarriHanninen bro, you killed it!! Awesome job👍
I have that same guitar and it blows me away! Love the 5 select pickup switch options with the dual humbuckers
Blood of the Scribe easily a metal masterpiece
THIS WAS AWESOME. I WANT TO SAY YOU PLAY BETTER THAN LAMB OF GOD!!
It's not that easy to play Lamb Of God riffs but you played it flawlessly. And digging that tone hard. Awesome job!
That hourglass riff was the bane of my existence in middle school, lmao. love it
Man, LOG riffs deserves another list! Killer!
Grace is the best of these songs in my opinion.
Grace is an underrated masterpiece. The combination of heavy guitar riffs plus Chris Fuckin Adler with his double bass just makes it perfect
LoG songs are impossible for me now hahha you've nailed it so smoothly... And agàin i just love you guitar i could keep on staring all day hahaah
Hah thanks! \../
Condem The Hive is a mental track, Visitation is just fast.... Bury Me Under The Sun because of the stretches. Nice video though 🤘
Shadow Mantra Steve these condemn the hive and Bury me under the sun are two little known gems xD my band use to cover these two and it would always make me laugh when ppl would be like "what album were those on?" 😂😂

I love Lamb of God guitar riffs!! ♡
This series of Hardest rhythm guitar songs is real good... Keep it going bruh !!
excellent video, one of the best of this type of compilation I've seen - like how you flow from one to another
Awesome! The breakdown from walk with me in hell should be on the list too.
Now, this is the kind of right-hand technique I am striving to get. Flawless!
I have loved this band for so long, honestly I didn't appreciate how many killer riffs they've written. Good job man, btw cool guitar! 🤟
Dude!! That was awesome! Especially seeing the 11th hour rhythm part, exceptional, superb and just rad! There aren’t enough superlatives! :)
A pure masterpiece mate will and Marc will be so proud
Ruin is my favorite
Tone sounds killer 👌keep rocking
This is so dope I love how well you transition to each song
Iced Earth hardest songs on rhythm guitar, plis! I know they're are not a trash metal band, but Jon Schaffer is one the greatest rhythm guitar players ever!
My gooooood I love your alternate picking technique , so smooth and effortless
That must have taken so much practice , good job sir
Nicely done. Great mix of tough riffs. Love the Ibanez!
Nice work blending the songs into each other dude!
Remember when many years ago I've been trying to find someone who plays blood of the scribe correctly. And finally this moment happened!
Thanks Artur! ;)
The tone you dialed in is great. Thinking of getting an RG652Ahm to replace my Korean PRS SE 24.
absolute beast!
Haven’t played log in awhile but I remember grace being super tough. Fun to watch :)
As the palaces burn was a great stylistic interested for me growing up playing guitar. Their stuff is basically all pretty easy but so bad ass and such a great style.
so brutal and nostalgic ma bro!!!

Great job bud! Enjoyed watching!
Fake Messiah is such a tasty riff
Nailed it man, nice tone!
Sick playing mate! Awesome tone too man! Nice Job
You nailed it, my dude!
Crispy and clean! Loved it!
Willie & Mark are phenominal players and riff writers!
I love those riffs. Great job.
Hourglass and blood of the scribe I can play easily, but I find it just impossible to play the faded line (at all) and still echoes (correctly and clean). Another one that I just can't do it clean is ghost walking.
Renan Terezan Especially still echoes is fucking hard dude. Don't lose faith, keep pushing, you'll get it
Faded line makes no sense to me.
Renan Terezan man i started with hourglass yes it is quite ok to play but sliding triplets throw me off the rhythm the one on 16 slide 17 slide back🤕
I dig the order of the songs and riffs you chose. Funny how alot of Lamb of God songs lead into each other in a way. The Adler Bros shred for sure guitar and drums are so rythmatic. Phrygian scale rules. Awesome video just like everyone of your I watch. Also LoG blows after Ashes of the Wake.
Well played! 🤘

Most of these are my favorites.
beating on deaths door especially the"stuck tape" breakdown????
shiz fuck right?
This playing is tiiiiiiight /,,/
Awesome. And thats one mean guitar.
surprised you didn’t add “The Faded Line” at the part before the midway breakdown. im still finding trouble with the pull offs and hammer ons
I've got the same guitar, though I don't play it nearly as well as you. Mad respect bro!
That section of ruin didnt seem like the hardest part of the song but your a exellent guitarist you are doing this with what seems like no effort. Sign of a expert of the cords.
nailed it. Lamb of God and Loomis from Nevermore have the heaviest riffs.
