- From August 31 1992, an A-Z of television's low points until then. Includes The Borgias, Triangle, Sin on Sunday and (how this ever got devised let alone commissioned will remain one of life's unsolved mysteries) The Minipops. Culminates with a 1950s reporter on mescaline hilariously describing his trip in received pronunciation.
"It's a potential social menace of the first magnitude..." Lord Reith was probably the grumpiest curmudgeon who has ever lived, but arguably, with TV as it has turned out,he's been proved right.

At first I thought this was about eternal punishment or something but it's worse
They need to update this to include Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeway, The Office, Eldorado, The Mighty Boosh, Miranda, Little Britain and especially 'The League Of Gentlemen''. All worthy contenders for TV Hell.
I am very sorry to hear about your loss of taste
@@ardentdesir5796Miranda was horrible
@@DDandrums The Office, Little Britain and especially The League of Gentlemen most certainly were not.
@@ardentdesir5796Okay
@@DDandrums Agreed

I couldn't help but notice the Lord Reith segment was from '67, the year of Radio One's first broadcast. By his demeanor, he was still recovering from it. 😂
I’m here for the boomph
Hey Blake, where's Angus and Paul ?
Had this on video for years, great to see it again 👍🏻
I'm a big Sex Pistols fan but they embarrassed themselves on Grundy's show. Swearing & being obnoxious for the sake of it is just boring.
Not at the time it wasn’t.
What a fuckin' rotter!
Thanks for uploading this
