Literally just ordered one of these as my first rc car. I’m a fpv freestyle drone pilot but in the winter it’s too cold for my hands to be able to fly with precision so thought I’d take up a bit of rc cars for colder months. Don’t know how they can sell these so cheap and still make money. Nice unboxing 👍🏻
You will really enjoy this car mate and they are great value. Rc is so expensive for the big name cars. We would make alot more videos but the cars are so expensive. We have seen a 4s 8th scale car for a very good price so we should be back soon. Let us know how you get on with the car. Thanks for your support.
Love my h16bm MJX. Be sure to regrease the diffs before 3s with 1mil weight and oil the shocks properly with nice oil. If you do that the diffs will outlast the body for the clipless style.
Thanks for the video, really useful to refer to! I baught one of these around Christmas. It just arrived and ive finally got it running, just a few tests in the house. I am glad I was not the only one who was really struggling with the wheelie bar assembly, that did take some patience, and I looked up this video for some tips 😂! Overall impression is really satisfied. It is not just a toy, but something more, with spare parts listed and explosion drawings of assembly etc in the manual. The major issue I am having tho is the reaction from the transmitter - reverse is often just not working and if it does it often jolts to full power (currently testing at 75%) and overall just VERY "Jittery" at times.. Can someone perhaps tip me if if this issue is because I need to tune it into a sweet(er) spot with trim, or is there a likely fault? Till now not had much joy and its a bit of a let down on what is apart from that a really awesome little car. Extra note. Maybe its worth looking upgrading to an alternative transmitter / reciver (assuming this is possible?) Any suggestions? Keep the videos comming! ✌
Great comment mate. They aren't toys at all, they're great value and I think perfect for someone's first RC car especially on 2s. I had exactly the same problem with the reverse not working properly. You have got to get the throttle trim in exactly the right place on the transmitter for the reverse to work properly. Just have a fiddle about with it you will get it sorted straight away. Thanks for your comment.

@@banditsrc I ran my HBX 16889A PRO today and it is a nighmare to control it, even on the 2S L-ion 1500 mAh battery from the HBX 16889A. It is almost as hard to keep in a straight line as my much cheaper 2S 390 brush motored, RWD only, (high level toy grade) Kidz Tech Topmaz Racing Sand Monster!
@@banditsrc Yes, the HBX is lighter, the tyres are smaller and the chassis is also narrower, so I am now confused about how the HBX 16889A Pro and the MJX 16208 are both regarded as 1/16 scale trucks? Comparing the two as being the same is like comparing Arnold and Vin, Arnold being the MJX and Vin being the HBX ... 🤣🤣🤣

I will do mate but I've broken the clipless body already lol 😆

@@banditsrc ❤️ thank u so much brother. 😊👍🏻
Nb enjoy the car 🚗
The MJX Hyper Go truck itself is slightly better than the HBX 16889A Pro, but the transmitter is a let down compared to the HBX.
Good point. And the hbx is only 2s rated. Where the mjx can take a 3s battery. Its crazy fast 😳

Is it much lighter than the mjx because the mjx has got a good amount of weight to it which helps keep it stable I think!

I think the hbx is only 2s mate but the mjx can take 3s. The mjx is amazing and really tuff
Loving the videos bandit do you have a patreon ?
