RULES CORRECTION
Players start with a free upgrade during setup which we missed during this playthrough. This slowed down our game engines significantly. Please be sure to gain this benefit at the start of your games.

Thank you for the fun playthrough, looks like an interesting mashup of some mechanisms from Wingspan and Race for the Galaxy/Ares expedition with it's own new twists of course. Looks like a fun game, and your teach and gameplay was fun and informative as ever.
Played twice and it's fantastic. The expansion inventors don't need the expansion robots either so you can try them all out without worry

Thanks as always for the playthrough and teach! I watched this to prep to play our copy today and/or tomorrow (end of the year or beginning of the next year!).
As an FYI, I believe "brinner" is what people call "breakfast for dinner". For those of us who think breakfast food is the most delicious, sometimes we just eat it for other meals!
I don't play too many new games a year but for me this is top 3. Voidfall, La Famiglia, and Raising Robots.

Ada's extra energy every turn was huge for one of my grades

Question for you two! How many times to you typically play a game before you film a Teach & Playthrough? Do you have to reshoot sometimes?

Hi! Great question, it really depends on the game. If it's something more strategic we may have to play it a couple of times before doing the final playthrough, but if it's something simpler, maybe less. If we make egregious rules errors that changes the way the game is played, then we will definitely reshoot. Thankfully that has only happened maybe twice in the past. Thank you!

Curious to know if the Ex. just adds more of the same or depth in addition to more?
Thank you!! We unfortunately didn’t play it with the pets expansion 🐶🐱. I believe the cards allow you to activate other robots in your play area based on where you deployed the pet in your engines.
I wanted to like this game but holy cow so many steps and resources and cards lol
At 1:14:45ish, you should have also taken 1 battery along with the two robot cards.You can never have too much power!
Hey guys, first time comment here, would really love a teach & playthrough of - Sea of Thieves: Voyage of Legends Board Game! The game looks super interesting however there isn't much out there on the game, and would really love to hear your take on it!
got it super early and had a game last week. We should have used the inventors, but everyone saw the icons and we decided maybe we should wait since it already seemed like a lot to take it. In hindsight we could have added them no issue. Tight to get everything we wanted done, but still a good time. A fun puzzle for sure.

I also made my life harder playing this game forgetting cards are a ressource. Need to play it again.

Yeah, spending those batteries was such a bad move on my part lol. So much regret
