  • James & Joanna from Viva La Dance take you through the Sally Ann Cha Cha Cha sequence dance, a full break down with explanations and dealing with some of the trickier places.
If you have never danced any basic cha cha cha then it might help to refer back to some of our basic cha cha cha videos, especially the part one video.
The Sally Ann cha cha cha was a winning sequence by Ken & Barbara Street in 1973 for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and is very popular today.
    Have fun!

Well, I can only heartily agree with other comments. You guys are brilliant! If you have time to add any more ballroom steps or 'traditional' sequence dances we will all be delighted. Thank you for everything you do.

Hi, just found your videos, they are so much better than others we've tried to follow... would love it if there were some more of the popular sequence dances as there seems to be so much 'fudging it' when you try to follow people at a dance. In particular would like to see Alpine Stroll and White City Waltz and maybe Mambo Magic Thanks in Advance!

Thank you! And don't worry if it isn't perfect, enjoyment comes first - just ask the wonderful hosts to dim the lights :D

I am clear now doing girl's steps and boy's steps as well. Thank you.
      A bit confusing before.

Delightful dancing and terrific teaching. You have broken down the components of the Cha Cha beautifully and explicitly . The tricky transitions are no longer daunting . When I hit the dance floor next week in Hervey Bay (Queensland), Sally Ann Cha Cha should now be a breeze !
Fingers crossed there are more dances to come.
