Catalán is so much different than spanish. It seems like a mix of german, french, portugués, and spanish

different than Castilian*. Spanish is not a language. ;), and its not that much different, especially if you are a native speaker. You just have to get used to the pronunciation.
Elwood 11 - Spoken in vall d’aran (part of cat) only place it’s co-official, provençal n Languedoc in So France . It was a huge spoken language in the 14-18th in Spain, France, italy n being a stateless language its been lost. It’s really close to Cat. Google it.
