I’m not an expert, but the best advice I can give you is not to overthink if what you’re doing is a stim or not. Let your body move however feels best to you, make whatever sounds you want, stuff like that :) And I would start in a safe, secure environment where you won’t feel watched or judged (though if you one day feel safe stimming in front of others, that’s fine, too!)
Being honest I don't really see how it's unsafe, safe is used to mean there aren't jumpscares/gore because that became a problem, not that there's nothing that could scare someone or be a trigger, unless I'm wrong here
im not diagnosed of anything and do anything like stimming but these are really comforting to me
everyone stims, just not as much or as expressive as neurodivergent people do. When you say "ow" after getting hurt, you are stimming.
