    No, you should find and use the local indigenous astrology, eg the Mayan horoscopes

    I first noticed this as a child in fairy tales. The wind whispered directions or warnings. A butterfly could land on your finger and then fly in front of your face and lead you into the path of your true love. Throughout my life I have been experiencing patterns that I sometimes am able to get needed or wanted info from. When you come to see life as a magical process it can reveal itself to you through astrology, or the I ching or a walk in nature. Astrology has a lot to say because like tarot it is a collaboration between what has already been decoded and the internal experience of the interpreter.

    It’s makes a difference in my opinion I have a theory not necessarily flipping it completely but if you’re born in the northern hemisphere as I am. I’m a libra living in the southern hemisphere. If I was born in the southern hemisphere I would be an Aries as the sign is in that same position on the zodiac system thats specifications are northern hemisphere based. We still pass through the same signs as a whole but the signs have opposite value depending on the hemisphere your in and the person themselves if born in one hemisphere but living in the other will determine weather you flip. In other words SH living in NH your only flipping you star sign to the opposite but passing through the cycle the way the system is intended. NH living in SH won’t flip their sign but will flip the cycle of the zodiac.

    Yes one should flip the signs when in the Southern Hemisphere because the tropical zodiac is based on the seasons and the signs take their qualities from the seasons and yes these assignments are not willy nilly, hence the logic to flip. It’s very logical.

      I don't think it is necessary. That is my point. But I am not against it. The rest isn't worth debating to me because my position is well established and not changing. I've explained it thoroughly many times on my channel.

      @@amaie9600 I'm against people saying it is necessary to flip the zodiac because that comes from an improper philosophical understanding of what the zodiac is, as well as it's relationship to the seasons. I don't deny that (and even mention here) that Theos group has shown nicely that it can be done and that charts can show radical symbolism when inverted. I think you can make just as strong a case in every single example I ever saw in that group that the symbolism works just as well through the normal orientation of the zodiac. But that argument aside...and as I said to him and I will say to you...I think it is wrong to say it MUST be done. That's it.

    I just had a dream about a hawk last night. As well as the last video you mentioned the hawk, I saw one circle above my house while watching the video. They always seem to come into my life when i am questioning my intuition and contemplating on vision for the future. Sometimes spirit reminding me of the importance of temperance. Other times activating a willingness to pursue a quest for vision as well as reflection on my use of discernment.

    I’ve come to understand our bodies are picking up and having passing through us neutrinos which contain mass that will have passed through pluto Neptune the sun etc. They bring those planets vibration to us. And it acts through us. For me this made sense. It felt right.

  • @sirilewis
    @sirilewis 3 роки тому +7

    Instead of seeing the movement of the planets and other cosmic bodies as causing things to happen, I came to the understanding, or see them as reflecting what's happening here on earth.
    I thought that's what 'as above so below' is supposed to mean.
    Also, I don't know why people can believe in the big bang theory but have a problem with astrology.
    Doesn't that theory suggest that everything in the universe originated from a singular event and that everything shares similar properties in different combinations, measures, levels, equations, configurations??
    So 'everything is everything,' and everything is connected on some level or another is how I see it.
    How can we not be a reflection and affected by what's happening up there when it's apart of us anyway...
    God is so creative, his/her human creation can't see the forest for the trees.
    Astrology may not fit into the scientific model for explaining the nature of reality, but so what, it probably wasn't meant to.

    I did understand some of what you have explained, It's not a world I know a lot of. I just come to hear and learn a bit and find things that resonate and relate even, with what is astrologically going on. My simple astrological brain does wonder sometimes though, because I'm in NZ and the night sky is different from the US sky for instance, and our shortest day was your longest day and so less light here. Those two things are real to me. Is that OK to just see that as relevant, regardless of that?

      It is very relevant. I have also been trying to learn and as someone born and raised in the southern hemisphere I can tell you that things really are different here. Even the astrology interpretations are more accurate when flipped.

      1- My apologies I am not him. A doorbell rings. Does the doorbell sound cause someone to materialize in front of a door? Or, does the sound tell you that someone is at the door? That sound has meaning; it is a herald.
      2- Sidereal zodiac or tropical zodiac; please look for value not hierarchy. In this case hierarchy means - which one is RIGHT?

      A talisman is imbued with symbolic power...does a love talisman literally cause someone to fall in love? No. Items imbued with planetary powers are imbued with the powers of a god whose representation comes in part through a planet...those powers are always archetypal prior to being expressed physically. The talisman is thus a totem ripe with symbolic relevance and power...but it's not a literal causal power. Doesn't mean it doesn't work...just doesn't work in a literal causal manner.

    It seems like our belief in something is what actually makes it alive and working.
    People who believe in God and Angeles recieve proof in their ways.
    Others find comfort in trusting Astrology or Tarot to bring some clarity to the seemingly chaotic circumstances...
    There are a great majority who need something more tangible like mathematics and laws of physics.
    No one is right or wrong.
    It's like there's something behind the veil that is trying to connect to us, guide us, and it doesn't care which way we choose to, whatever fits our life view best

    Good Points. But Seriously Where you are from is relative and different. And It is literal to some degree. Because the conditions are very different no doubt about it. Someone Born on Mars has a different language, environmental factors, Forces, reconditions, experiences, Points of References, Rules of nature etc. Someone on mars may not work on the concepts of divination that our brains are orientated to. Their concepts would be completely different. One Size Does Not Fit All. That is not how nature works. On Mars, Cell Phones Might not even work. lol By the way.... for the Northern Hemisphere Inhabitants, In the Northern Hemisphere, Australia for example, we have different seasons on different parts of land aka country. The indigenous aborigines' even acknowledge this in their knowledge, and their systems of the spiritual and physical world. These northern hemisphere systems weather metaphorically or physically just do not fit. You can try to make it fit into your world view, but then that is trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole when it was not built for that. And don't forget that the western system of astrology that we practice today is very different to the ancient and even eastern systems. Its watered down, diluted, and has been re-configured over time by the dominating societies that brought their versions to us.
    Looking at everything through the Lenses of the western civilization point of view excludes, diminishes, and invalidates everything else their is and that is not holistic. It does not take into account the very real considerations that The lenses is very different in the eastern part of the world in philosophy mindsets, points of view. Its narrow minded and far too closed.

    Ptolemy disagreed with the majority of Hellenistic astrologers, so there is some traditional justification for adopting the causal explanatory model for astrology.
    "the archetypes themselves cause seasons..." I guess it really depends on what you mean by "archetype" here. Do you mean to include quasi-Platonic mathematical forms? The sacred geometry of the celestial equator intersecting with the ecliptic is not itself an "archetype" in the typical Jungian sense although Jung himself was interested in the intersection between physics and psychology which he envisioned as being bridged by astrology.
    I suppose you could say that the Ideal, perfect, beautiful geometric form of the 30 degree segments of the ecliptic is the underlying structure from which the archetypal images, as well as the seasons themselves are generated, but then the expression of the seasons becomes casually conditioned by the geographical latitude (alternatively expressed as "Declination" from an astronomical perspective), systemic effects caused by ocean tides (affected by the Sun and the Moon) and other weather patterns, as well as the "accidents" of local space (orientation of a landform relative to water, landforms blocking or allowing for access to winds, local vegetation and animal life, etc.).
    Geographical latitude (Declination) is also not only relevant to geography for defining the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn and the equator, but also to astrology as well. So I would say that there is quite a lot that is causally conditioned by the underlying structure of the sacred geometry. And there is a causal relationship between occupying a specific geographical latitude (Declination) relative to the Sun in addition to the Sun being at a specific point within the 30 degree segments of the ecliptic. The 23.5 degree tilt of the Earth has real casual consequences for how the seasons are experienced on Earth. Many astrologers may not use declination or the somewhat related concept of Antiscia, but they are important fundamental concepts for delineation (particularly declination!) IMO.

    • @Adam-Elenbaas
      @Adam-Elenbaas  3 роки тому +1

      Yes things get taken in that direction as the tradition goes on and in my view it was a significant mistake. The astronomy that astrology utilizes is always tempting us into a paradigm of causes but it's a system of signs. Obviously some people are going to disagree!
