I think the competition and maybe descrimination in the so-called world class countries are so high. It's like living in abundancy but almost forget the value of humility.

Canadians should discover that even if the plane fare tom the P.I.. (Philippine Islands), is around $1000 nton $1500 Cdn everything else is cheap. Hotel Accommodations, transportation services, food and mostly available in western style so Canadians won't feel so foreign in our very- indo-pacific culture. PS- avoid the dangerous areas in the southern tip of the islands.
i don't think hotel accommodation is cheap.
