Ok so that green haired girl actually has a back story in the Genshin impact comics she has an insanely dark back story and is really sad in the comics but now you can see she’s doing better highly recommend reading it!
Didn’t expect them to be so mad about the death of their colleague. this is why I think they are the best villain in Genshin right now. they aren’t just a bunch of merciless psycho, they are human, they have emotions like any of us. - Pulcinella want the all work in the entire nation to halt for half a day. this can affect their whole nation severely. this goes to show that he has great respect toward Signora. - Childe doesn’t like Signora but even he himself come to the funeral and even stop his colleagues from fighting in order to honor the funeral silent. - Arlecchino was very mad toward Pantalone’s nonchalant attitude. this proves that she really does care about Signora. - Pierro was the one who are extremely mad. you can clearly see the anger in his voice. “Checkmate is not where the game ends” can be interpreted as “now that you killed one of our comrade, we’re not gonna play within the rules anymore. now we’re gonna play more dirty and ruthlessly”
I'm glad they showed this cause I genuinely thought no one cared about Signora's death after the Tsaritsa just sent poor Childe to hunt down Scaramouche.

It's pretty significant that Dottore seems to be playing a role in Sumeru (I'm pretty sure that's what's happening at the end), seeing as he plays a VERY big role in the comics along with Collei. So seeing all of this come back together is really cool.
I theorize that maybe he will manipulate Collei once more to attack the traveler before they purify her and show Dottore just how much power the traveler holds
Wasn't he also kicked out of the Academia for something and branded a heretic (hence the mask) like Xehanort level of evil deeds (making multiple versions/copies of himself... also reminds me of old moldyshorts....)
Well, the chess part has always been the core of Genshin's storytelling. Teyvat is essentially just a chess game for Celestia, controlling their Archons and moving mythical creatures to fight and die for its own entertainment. The main reason why Venti laughed about losing his Gnosis, Raiden Shogun literally just gave it to Yae Miko and had been governing Inazuma without it after her sister died, and Zhongli who intentionally tested his own people to see if having a Gnosis was necessary to defend his own land just so he could cut ties with Celestia by giving the Gnosis away to the group that plans to wage war with the gods. Well, TLDR, the Gnosis is bascially a chess piece. Venti, Zhongli and Raiden Shogun: the bishop (Raiden), rook (Zhongli), and the Queen (venti). Apparently, this implies that the Fatui and the Tsaritsa are playing a game of chess against Celestia. And if the Fatui wins, they get to challenge the authority of Celestia, whoever is in charge of it. This makes a lot more sense if you look back at the beginning of the game with the unknown god saying "arrogation of mankind", as if they're being cornered by humanity even before the war with Khraenri'ah where our sibling took part in.
there is a deeper story, it isn't just for their amusement. there is something wrong with the balance of the world. the narrative in the world is misleading. instead of listening to the story told about celestia, observe what the traveler is actually doing. everyone write and record thing from their own perspective, but if the traveler action would change the future than what the traveler is doing nowo is the biggest hint to the truth. why do we restore every single "pillar" we found if it was just a act of "fun", the pillar must has a positive reason to exist if we are only ever seen restoring them and never destroying them. thus is not as simple as you see.

Ei said she was the shadow, which would be the bishop piece that can only be placed in the dark squares, while Makoto's bishop is on the light ones. Unlike the other pieces which can land on any color, they can only either be in the dark or light. Which is why the people never knew there were 2 of them.

Nah, chess is the most commonly used game to show “darkness vs light” dynamic and to make you think “oh how deep are these writers?!” It’s just to help the audience understand there’s workings at play they don’t fully understand or going on in the background. I don’t play genshin but that’s my 2¢

I'm not sure if "darkness vs light" is the right term here because genshin is heavily inspired by gnosticism where there's truly no one in the right or wrong and everyone has their valid reason to fight. It's more acceptable if the term used is "opposing forces/ideals".
To be fair, her entire lore is about resurrection and as a fire moth, it's a theory and people can call it copium but it's literally her lore to resurrect lol.
We're still relatively early in the story, (2 of 7 nations, with the third soon to be released) & with the death of La Signora, there's time for one of the good main characters to switch allegiances & take her spot in the Fatui harbingers.
I actually think that we the traveler may join them. After all, both us and the fatui want to kick celestia's ass and the fatui might be in communication with the Abyss seeing as The Marionette's puppet appears to be a Field Tiller and The Jester is visibly from Khaenriah.

Probably Dottore clone himself and the clone itself is so powerful that killed the previous Dendro Archon, potentially becoming a weekly boss.

I'm not sure if "darkness vs light" is the right term here because genshin is heavily inspired by gnosticism where there's truly no one in the right or wrong and everyone has their valid reason to fight. It's more acceptable if the term used is "opposing forces/ideals".
