Evolution -- Metropolis (Can't Stop The Feeling Mix) Positive Vinyl Records UK 1991 Engineered by Peter Beckman ,Remixed by Sasha . no copyright intended
Mixmag described this as "E tune of the month" back in the early 90's. I bought a copy white label and one of my mates after Zone one night back at mine on the comedown, put a spliff on it and melted the vinyl - gutted! One of the best tunes from that era defo, thanks to UA-cam making it available again
I remember this track the first time I heard it. I went on a bus from home to The Metro in Saltcoats. The bus trip was an adventure all by itself, I didn't know anyone else on it cause none of my mate had enough money to go that night. The place was wicked, spiral stairs around the place and a balcony round the main floor. But when this track dropped I never forgot it. I didn't find out what it was or by who til years later. And I still can't fight the feeling.
I have this song on a Kimball Collins AAHZ compilation CD a friend gave in the late '90's, and it was one of the best little gifts I've ever gotten in my life.
I'll 2nd that . What a tune ,emotional, makes you feel like crying at first if you know what I mean haha , then it kicks in and everyones throwing their arms in the air . Oh i wish i was back in the early 90s 👌👍
5 times in a row ive just played this now......😂😂😂 its been 30 yrs since ive urd it tho'...i cudnt help it, soz '91 - '97 pilled up & dancing wivout a care....happy days...🤘🤘🤘🏴🏴🏴🏴

I just woke up with this in my head after an amazing dream. It’s my favourite, though there are so many amazing tunes from this time. We were so lucky to experience this movement as kids 🕉💟

This and Passion (Gat Decor) - probably my top two tunes of this genre. The third, can't even remember the name and I've lost the 12" - I've searched through all the other tracks on youtube but nothing rings a bell - ugh, don't get old. One day I'll find it.
@@michaelhey438 Trouble is, I don't even have the tune in my head anymore. I know if I hear it I'll remember it, the only thing I can remember is that the pitch needs to be turned up as the tune is recorded at a slower speed than was played on the radio. I literally heard it once on the 808 State show and went to Eastern Bloc records in Manchester the next day and bought it. I'll ask on that facebook page anyway, maybe someone knows. Thanks !
@@Impassion Yeah, it's worse than that, I can't even remember the tune, just that I loved it back in 91-92. I rarely made a trip to Eastern Bloc records in Manchester just to buy something so I must have "really" liked it ! All I can remember about it was the sleeve and center piece were grey and that the 808 State guys sped up the pitch a bit when they played it on their radio show...ugh. I'll keep looking, maybe one day it will be posted. Even more annoying is that I've somehow lost the vinyl itself ! I'll download the recordings of their show, maybe I'll find it there.
Woah! This takes me back down memory lane. The Florida rave scene was the best and greatest around! It is nothing like it used to be in the 90's!!! #90'sravergirlforlife
