  • Here is a Family Pig Hunting Trip we done back in 2018 for the Uhunt competition. We try out a luck on a few morning hunts trying to catch pigs as they make their way back to the creeks to camp up for the day. They get some good boars and get some good drone footage and even manage to use the drone to bend the pigs out to the open flats where they can get at them easier then the thick creeks.
    What to know what uhunt is ? download the app today and see for yourself. Upgrade to premium for $10 a month and watch hr long films and grunter hunter championship films on your phone or cast to your tv. Heres the link:

    Great video folks. That drone gives a whole different dimension to pig hunting that’s for sure.It great watching the dogs work the two big ones Carl and Rocco is it don’t muck around and hit hard. How’s the little one coming on it was funny when it it that sow and got bowled backwards. Nice to see a real family affair in great pig country. As always thanks for the video I’m a tad envious. Howdy Dan,all of your videos are Awesome,I really enjoy watching the dogs track and catch the wild hogs,do you have any pups from your catch dogs yet,if you had pups and wanted to sell some of them,here in the USA we have some fine hog dogs also,but you could sell some over here and make plenty of money,The state of Texas has exploded with wild hogs,they need all the help they can get,it would be awesome if you were to contact the State of Texas and get a contract on catching the wild hogs,you could possibly almost retire early with the money you can make by helping the state of Texas downsize on wild boar...again I think you have WORLD CLASS DOGS,thank you for sharing these videos for us to see,your UA-cam channel is my most favorite to watch,have a blessed day and may the LORD continue to bless you and your family.

      George Baker Hay George thanks for the great comment . Texas looks awesome I follow a few gun channels from there I love the pride and freedoms you fellas have 😊. I have pups on the ground at home at the moment but I am not sure how I’d go about selling them over seas and I’d want to make sure they where exactly the write style of dog the bitch I put my dog over is only new 2 the team and I wanna see how the pups turn out . Are yous having good seasons in Texas for the pigs population to be booming etc

      @@boaringaustralia you're welcome,I can understand how you feel about your dogs,no matter what is done is not enough,using dogs to catch the hogs, trapping, shooting from helicopters, poisoning them,it has all failed, there's millions of wild hogs in Texas,there are almost 2,000,000,yes 2 million wild hogs in Texas and they're being killed,but they can't kill enough to slow the population down,about the pups,if you decided to sell any,just put an ad in your UA-cam channel (if that's legal) I'm not sure but I think you can advertise to your viewers,then if anyone wants a pup y'all can figure out how to get the pup from there to the USA,thank you Mr Dan for responding.

    mmmmm, It looks as if the wind has a lot to do with getting these critters, i assume that with the wind blowing into your faces, the Boars can't smell you coming..If it was behind you, the boars could smell you coming. There pretty crafty buggers aren't they?..The sow seems to take the watch when the rest of them are eating grain,,very smart..

    • @boaringaustralia

      Hey josh there are alot of dieseases in the pigs here. We have caught many pigs with brusolosis and spargalosis and even got pigs with hydatid so its hard to eat the pigs here hense why the meat is only sold commerically for pet food. I wouldnt recommend it unless its a smaller pig maybe if ur keen to try it . We have eatten it in the past but go for the younger pigs.

    Why are so many hunters concentrating on boars when sows are the real problem with the pig population control and should be the main targets for elimination. Also seems lower numbers of sows would then lead to better chances with the boars as they wander farther looking for sows. Here in the states when the game and fish people want a specie's numbers reduced they liberalize the harvest of the females. Just bumfuzzles me why competitions of invasive species concentrates on big boars.

    • @boaringaustralia
      @boaringaustralia  4 роки тому +1

      Bucmeister hay mate we catch sows all the time but it dosnt make for exciting viewing . Generally over a month of hunting it’s about 50/50 boar and sow catch ratio I hope that clears that up

    • @bucmeister7713
      @bucmeister7713 4 роки тому

      @@boaringaustralia Yes it does. Glad to hear it is not a "boar only" focus. Understand the "exciting" viewing as that is what helps drive views, likes, etc. Guess my question could be addressed by sharing the total harvest tally and statistics at some point in each video. I have noticed some content producers here in the USA do a break down of their kills while others just do totals. You guys have so much more open space for pursuit which I envy. I am in the SW corner of Mississippi so it is hills and hollows with thick vegetation and brush everywhere. On my place the pigs are in cover and out of sight within 10-20 leaps most of the time.
