Very nice cane. Well done. This is the first video of yours I have watched. I watch video's to learn not just to watch people turn wood. It would be nice if you could include some viable info regarding the turning. For example type of wood and the length and thickness of the wood before you started turning as well as info similar info on the finished product. I am sure this would be helpful to many people as well as myself. Yall have a wonderful day.

I'm a fan of the lathe work.... I could do without the "subcribe and like" thing scrolling across the screen a bunch of times.
Let your work speak for itself buddy.
That's why I subbed all that time ago.
    Cool walking stick dude. 👍👍
    Good job.

Love the design. Been planning on making these in the near future.
I guess it stayed thick enough in the middle to not have to use a steady rest.
How long did you let it dry? Did it stay straight?

Hey Roger, very cool video sir!
    A couple of questions:
    1. Was that birch wood dry or was it green when you turned it? Looking at the shavings you were making, I'd say it was pretty green/wet.
    2. Someone has asked me to make them a turned walking stick like that but with a thinner handle, with a 90° bend to it. So the stick's handle will be in an "L" shape. Have you done anything like that? How would I bend the handle without snapping it? Using steam/boiling water? Have you ever done something like that before!?
Again, thanks for a great video.
    You have a new subscriber.
    Keep a goin!

You don't follow a pattern, by that I mean you work a little here, then there, oh and maybe I should work over there too. Interesting technique.

Thats true, but ther is no rule to finish one spot and go to the next😁 but is not so effective

Nice job! What is the length of your lathe? How do you get it longer?
