Shoutout to The Next Chapter I’ve been supporting for awhile, much love, keep doing what ya doing! I do have one question tho, what’s the point of having referees in 1v1 basketball? I get it if it were like 5v5 maybe but I really think they are just a distraction when instead the players can call their own fouls and the other team has to respect it, if they don’t respect then shoot for it. Bottom line I think the refs really be selling these players not just Chauncey (although they sold him bad but he also sold himself), but even other players as well, I think it would be better with no refs
this game with the calls was brutal
When there is money involved you always should have refs, you gotta keep the game civil and somewhat respectful, otherwise it would get out of hand with constant hacking and violations because there is money on the line.
refs should be in, otherwise it is way too much a game of "I am the bigger dog than u, so I call foul everytime I might miss". seen it way too many times in yt hoops and it sucks alot more than a ref having a bad day and missing a couple calls.
