My dear Michel, thanks to your bunker instruction I was able to perform perfect bunker shots last January 14th, 2021 at Mt.Woodson in Ramona, CA for the first time in my life!. I was a terrible bunker player and after this video, I NOW have the knowledge and I was flawless. Hugs from CA. The USA.

Thank you, Michele. A few points you made that I believe are rock solid that I haven't seen in other how-to bunker videos. You also mention the ball more towards the middle of the stance. I moved my ball position there and I'm playing bunker shots much better, before I was skulling, hitting too far behind the ball, and blading the ball.

These are the best tips on the bunker shot: set up (right foot dig in), hands lower /shallow, handle towards right thigh, follow through...It works so beautifully. 😊 Pro. Highly appreciate

For fearful beginners, try to practice to slide the slightly open club face into the sand and hear the thudding. With stable lower body stance, as if doing a slice and cut across from outside to inside to the ball and during down swing, finishing with club closer to bellybutton position. Before hitting the ball, eyes on the particular particles of sand behind the ball, this is the key.

Hard sand don’t need to add too much loft to the club :)
this is one of the best bunker shot explanation that easy to apply in the course. I have more sand saves and reduce my hcap significantly since I am not afraid on green side bunker and the result is more green in regulation.
