- This is a walkthrough of cabin L108 on the Royal Princess cruise ship. This is a Category M6 with a large balcony. It is considered a mini-suite in the Reserve Collection. It is larger than a typical mini suite, with a different layout since it is in the front corner with a very large balcony. Great cabin for an Alaskan cruise.
well, you can't expect the cruise lines to renowate every year or so. None would be willing to pay the cost for a cruise then. Great video, thank you.
What was your overall impression of the forward facing balcony? I'm looking at this stateroom for a south pacific cruise.
Thanks
Overall it was a good cabin. Much larger than normal reserve mini suites. The balcony can be very windy when sailing and chilly (depending on geographic location of course). If you like being out on the balcony a lot when sailing, then I wouldn’t recommend the forward facing balcony, since you are going to have a 20 iknot wind and then add any actual natural wind. For our purpose in glacier bay it was great for sightseeing. I don’t think I would get one again for other cruises. Also it is considered obstructed view since you don’t have glass for the railing and can’t see much of the view when seated.
the ship first sailed in 2013 not 2012
Yes, i had put the Launch date rather than the maiden voyage date.
Nice vid
It's absolutely unacceptable that Princess does not update their power outlets, especially in a higher grade cabin. This little inconvenience would add up to a big annoyance for me. The decor in the cabin is DEFINITELY dated. It needs a refresh!
