The tallest have bluntly said they hate him but they did originally sent him on a "mission" and mess around with him like that. Maybe it's hardwired into his pak to obey all orders and to him he's still on a mission he was abandoned and left to die. Still sad nonetheless.
I think that deep down, Zim knows that the Tallest despise him and he’s just in denial, so when he learned how far their flight plan was away from Earth, it was just a confirmation that they hated him and he was left completely depressed and unmotivated. After some period of time, when Zim doesn’t hear from them on Probing Day, he tries to find out where they are only to find out that they, along with the armada fleet, are no where in the known universe.
@@toilet_rose7986 I noticed those depressive episodes too i think the only other time Zim went into another depression was when Dib stopped chasing after him in Mopiness of doom (if you even consider cancelled episodes cannon) but i think that episode and all his interactions with the tallest building up to him discovering the truth about the flight path confirmes Zim is desperate for a purpose in life. That in itself is just as tragic if not a little bit more tragic than Spinel's character given the fact everyone hates Zim, even the closest person in his life hates him and only wants to use him for fame.
mehh * zim can have normal emotions but the problem is anything that goes against what zim thinks will happen sends him into a craz which is why he’s always freaking out he even attacked his future self who told him they take over earth but tells him his early plans were all really dumb so to see zim go into depression instead of a craz implies he on some level was aware he’s been left and once it was plain as day it hit him full on though the thought he could fix it lead to his plan in the movie so maybe now that the tallest are gone and so is the irkian empire zim just is a earthling unless he decides to leave now and find a new world to live on

Well I’m crying. Thank you for being the very few people in the fandom who actually picks up on this, sense Zim’s abandonment was literally addressed in the first episode. Even at the end you realized that his Tallests expected him- no- *wanted* him dead; and the fact that he doesn’t even realize it at first makes it even more tragic

You know what I love about Enter The Florpus the most? At the end of the film, The Tallest FINALLY get the karma they had coming since the day they sent Zim away. Trillions of light years away and trapped inside of the Florpus hole to suffer for all the horrid things they put Zim through. Can’t say they didn’t have it coming...
If invader zim ever comes back after the movie, for the series finale I want Invader Zim to realize the tallest are jerks and fight back against them with dib *spoilers ahead from the movie* Like what if zim went through a deprssive state after realizing their course if so far away from earth or not even set for earth like in the movie and then explained it to dib and dib tells him hes fucking atupid and the rebel against tha tallest. That would be awesome!

Ugh! I haven't even fully watched Invader Zim yet (despite being familiar enough with it through clips, and the pilot), but this is STILL heartbreaking. I know enough about Zim to know he's not exactly......bad, perse'. He lives by the ways of his race, who are a conquering race, and as such have that mentality ingrained into them. But Zim? He was always overly passionate, thrilling, enthusiastic, and always gets/got so lost in the moment he didn't understand that he did anything wrong when he unwittingly caused trouble for his people and The Tallest. He's the odd one of the bunch because he's.......different from the others. At least that's what I could tell based on what i've seen of him, and the rest of his clan. He's the same as Dib: nobody whose supposed to understand him does because they see his passion, and sense of enthusiasm, wonder and imagination as different - and indeed, I mean the "treat them as an outcast" kind. But unlike Dib, Zim was pretty much banished discreetly to a world his people didn't even give a damn about. They literally sentenced him to life in exile, under the pretense of it being his conquest to prove himself, and treated it like it was a f*cking joke. True, his actions on Earth were wrong, and he was a villain by technicality. But honestly? He strikes me as morally grey if not as an Anti-villain. After all, he's helped Dib face against other threats that threatened the world, and Dib stood up for him when it counts (even if sometimes his efforts were wasted on the idiocy of humanity). The two of them, as far as i'm concerned, are better than the entirety of their own universe's respective races, and together they could accomplish so much. Dibs got the brains, and Zim has the resources. And you know something else? I honestly think that despite being "archenemies", it's the kind of archenemy relationship that makes them lock horns all the time, but deep down, at the center of it all, they understand and learn how alike they are..........and just maybe, even when they fight, they really do consider each other friends. Which is why I say we need a story where Dib does a Steven as he does in the sequel to this vid, and offers his love and friendship to Zim: the one thing the little guy's always sought from his tallest like they were his fathers (assuming the one voiced by pleakly isn't actually a female with a partially masculine voice that makes him sound like he could be a cross-dresserXD), but never received because THEY are/were the real villains. They were evil warmongers who mentally abused Zim for their amusement, and all while he himself never even realized it because he was only focused on proving himself to them. But those assholes didn't deserve an ounce of Zim's genuine efforts, loyalty, and admiration. They were evil men who deserved their fate when they, as I assume, finally died via the Florpus. So if Dib actually did come back for Zim to finish business, or just check up on him and THIS scene happens, then it would honestly feel like things come full circle. Whether "Enter the Florpus" happens only half way, or not, and as such the pair decide to prove to humanity and The Armada who the superior beings really are by making the Tallest pay with their combined strength, and THEN Dib offers Zim a place with him is arbitrary. Because watching this, and the sequel video "found" makes me believe Dib and Zim will only truly be happy together, in whatever way they decide. Because what they choose to do with their lives is theirs: not The Tallest, nor Professor Membrane's (though he means well unlike the former). It's these two. Their destiny lies in their hands. And someday, somewhere, somehow, they'll not only love again. But someday, somewhere, somehow, they're BOTh gonna feel found......but I think they already found each other.:)

God...poor Zim 🥺 Even in Season 1 of Invader Zim I knew that The Tallest of the Irken Armada didn't care about him nor his own people (except the ONLY one who doesn't hate Zim is Invader Skooge, Mini-Moose, or Gir) I hate how he was abandoned from his own home...his own people! I can't even imagine what Zim feels to learn that🥺 I want to give him all the love that he was never given to his people or Tallests.❤️ When I watched Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus on Netflix (I read the comic before watching the movie) it made me nearly cry to see Zim so sad and lonely. Zim needs friends!!! He has Gir, Mini- Moose, and Invader Skooge, but it'd make sense if Gaz tried to be friends with him and Gir...yet I don't see Dib becoming friends with him anytime soon. Although it is an interesting"What if?"- scenario for the show, the fandom, fanfiction, and the movie.🤔 So WHY do people ship them anyway?! Okay Gaz I get...Gir I don't really know why except that I see them more as family in a disfunctional sort of way, but DIB X ZIM?!😖 I will admit though in Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus that they did have a bit of a connection with both being ignored, not being taken seriously, or with being disrespected...yet that's about it between them in common😗 My thoughts on the animation, the story, and expressions is 10/10! This explains Zim quite well actually... To all of you that thinks this needs to be addressed as canon, just stop and think for a moment... The creator of Invader Zim is Jhonen Vasquez. The very same man who wrote the morbid and dark comic series Johnny The Homicidal Maniac (JTHM). The same man that has a similar brilliant mind to Scott Cawthon(Creator of FNAF) that lays down hints for us to complete the puzzles of characters and such for ourselves. Invader Zim is a kids show, yes, but Jhonen Vasquez has gave us some canon information through hints. Have you ever noticed how Zim yells out his name quite often with one of his common phrases, "I AM ZIMMM!"? If you have, then dig a little deeper into that. Why do you think that is-? Well I'll tell you why. Because he must constantly subconsciously remind himself of who he is due to his fear of abandonment. Even worse? Deep down he *knows* the Tallest's nor Irken kind want nothing to do with him, and he keeps falsely comforting himself with lies to not accept that truth. He knows, but he would still rather make a fool of himself to believe in a lie, thus the reason for his crazy schemes and childish behavior. A fantasy all in his head. He has created a world within his mind he strives to make a reality where he is finally accepted by his own people/kind. He is not defective because of his intelligence. He's defective because he's been damaged emotionally. And that is something Jhonen couldn't so obviously implement in a kids show.

You know what I love about Enter The Florpus the most?
At the end of the film, The Tallest FINALLY get the karma they had coming since the day they sent Zim away. Trillions of light years away and trapped inside of the Florpus hole to suffer for all the horrid things they put Zim through. Can’t say they didn’t have it coming...
The ending brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "I'll send you straight to hell."

Ugh! I haven't even fully watched Invader Zim yet (despite being familiar enough with it through clips, and the pilot), but this is STILL heartbreaking. I know enough about Zim to know he's not exactly......bad, perse'. He lives by the ways of his race, who are a conquering race, and as such have that mentality ingrained into them. But Zim? He was always overly passionate, thrilling, enthusiastic, and always gets/got so lost in the moment he didn't understand that he did anything wrong when he unwittingly caused trouble for his people and The Tallest. He's the odd one of the bunch because he's.......different from the others. At least that's what I could tell based on what i've seen of him, and the rest of his clan. He's the same as Dib: nobody whose supposed to understand him does because they see his passion, and sense of enthusiasm, wonder and imagination as different - and indeed, I mean the "treat them as an outcast" kind. But unlike Dib, Zim was pretty much banished discreetly to a world his people didn't even give a damn about.
They literally sentenced him to life in exile, under the pretense of it being his conquest to prove himself, and treated it like it was a f*cking joke.
True, his actions on Earth were wrong, and he was a villain by technicality. But honestly? He strikes me as morally grey if not as an Anti-villain. After all, he's helped Dib face against other threats that threatened the world, and Dib stood up for him when it counts (even if sometimes his efforts were wasted on the idiocy of humanity). The two of them, as far as i'm concerned, are better than the entirety of their own universe's respective races, and together they could accomplish so much. Dibs got the brains, and Zim has the resources. And you know something else? I honestly think that despite being "archenemies", it's the kind of archenemy relationship that makes them lock horns all the time, but deep down, at the center of it all, they understand and learn how alike they are..........and just maybe, even when they fight, they really do consider each other friends.
Which is why I say we need a story where Dib does a Steven as he does in the sequel to this vid, and offers his love and friendship to Zim: the one thing the little guy's always sought from his tallest like they were his fathers (assuming the one voiced by pleakly isn't actually a female with a partially masculine voice that makes him sound like he could be a cross-dresserXD), but never received because THEY are/were the real villains. They were evil warmongers who mentally abused Zim for their amusement, and all while he himself never even realized it because he was only focused on proving himself to them. But those assholes didn't deserve an ounce of Zim's genuine efforts, loyalty, and admiration. They were evil men who deserved their fate when they, as I assume, finally died via the Florpus. So if Dib actually did come back for Zim to finish business, or just check up on him and THIS scene happens, then it would honestly feel like things come full circle. Whether "Enter the Florpus" happens only half way, or not, and as such the pair decide to prove to humanity and The Armada who the superior beings really are by making the Tallest pay with their combined strength, and THEN Dib offers Zim a place with him is arbitrary.
Because watching this, and the sequel video "found" makes me believe Dib and Zim will only truly be happy together, in whatever way they decide. Because what they choose to do with their lives is theirs: not The Tallest, nor Professor Membrane's (though he means well unlike the former). It's these two. Their destiny lies in their hands. And someday, somewhere, somehow, they'll not only love again.
But someday, somewhere, somehow, they're BOTh gonna feel found......but I think they already found each other.:)

When I watched Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus on Netflix (I read the comic before watching the movie) it made me nearly cry to see Zim so sad and lonely.
Zim needs friends!!! He has Gir, Mini- Moose, and Invader Skooge, but it'd make sense if Gaz tried to be friends with him and Gir...yet I don't see Dib becoming friends with him anytime soon.
Although it is an interesting"What if?"- scenario for the show, the fandom, fanfiction, and the movie.🤔

This explains Zim quite well actually... To all of you that thinks this needs to be addressed as canon, just stop and think for a moment... The creator of Invader Zim is Jhonen Vasquez. The very same man who wrote the morbid and dark comic series Johnny The Homicidal Maniac (JTHM). The same man that has a similar brilliant mind to Scott Cawthon(Creator of FNAF) that lays down hints for us to complete the puzzles of characters and such for ourselves. Invader Zim is a kids show, yes, but Jhonen Vasquez has gave us some canon information through hints. Have you ever noticed how Zim yells out his name quite often with one of his common phrases, "I AM ZIMMM!"? If you have, then dig a little deeper into that. Why do you think that is-? Well I'll tell you why. Because he must constantly subconsciously remind himself of who he is due to his fear of abandonment. Even worse? Deep down he *knows* the Tallest's nor Irken kind want nothing to do with him, and he keeps falsely comforting himself with lies to not accept that truth. He knows, but he would still rather make a fool of himself to believe in a lie, thus the reason for his crazy schemes and childish behavior. A fantasy all in his head. He has created a world within his mind he strives to make a reality where he is finally accepted by his own people/kind. He is not defective because of his intelligence. He's defective because he's been damaged emotionally. And that is something Jhonen couldn't so obviously implement in a kids show.
