It’s crazy that SOARF reminds me of Mim Fox - it comes in a precon deck (Ursula’s Return Coop Game) guaranteed and it holds it’s value because it’s such a good card. Awesome vid. Can’t wait for the next one.
Coming from a MtG background where I enjoyed a card like Bare Necessities I can appreciate Amber’s place in the discard space. I do think it would be interesting to see them further explore what Amber can do and maybe bring it removing from play instead of discarding the card. Maybe something that searches the deck for other cards of that name and removes them too …

Being a MTG player, It sure does help as reference; Wheel of Fortune, Duress, Cabal Therapy, Diabolic Edict, Ancestral Recall, Brainstorm, Ponder... you can trace it back to MTG and actualy have a history of how powerful those cards were. You just need to find similarity in lorcana cards and you have an EXTREMELY good indicator of how those cards will do. I am just waiting for Instant type of Action card and the next Force of Will THAT would change the whole game.
Emerald Amethyst was the deck that got me a stitch last set, and I feel it would be so poetic to use it now with the big shift Ursula in order to win an Ursula Champs Promo. I have 2 foils and I am getting a 3rd from a friend for the 3 I want to play in the deck, great time to get them
I took your advice and did my own research to buy foils and cards that I may need/want to play. Lucked out picking up cheap Flynn’s and picked up my foils for my competitive BS! Keep up the content as you’re my favorite to watch in regard to market watches! Also love the background parenting going on, SO RELATABLE! 😂

I like how you talk about the Ursula sea witch queen. I wish that would see more play. It seems like such a great card but doesn’t have enough support with current cards to make it work out yet.
I'm not in love with the fact the she only has a few options to shift onto, but they are there. I've been playing around with an Amber/Amethyst hybrid build that combines some aspects of aggro with some midrange options, and I've had great success with SWQ. I currently just use the 2 drop Amethyst Ursula with Challenger +2 for the shift target. I suppose if there were some good 4 drop songs to come along, then the Amber Singer Ursula will be a solid option. I was hesitant to run the small Ursula, but I pulled two SWQ and just had to play them. So I made them fit in the deck. 😂 She was no joke. I got her out on turn 3 one game. Ironically, I lost that game. But more often than not, when she hit the board, I won if my opponent couldn't deal with her. I think that she is slept on.
Made it to the end! Definitely need to get more foil Bare Necessities. As well as Jim Hawkins with potentially more good locations coming soon (Side note: I think Tuk tuk will see more play along with Jim as more locations release)
When they say "maybe you watched this as a podcast while cooking food". Me: sweats nervously. It took 3 separate passive watches but I got to the end of the video! I agree I have no idea how Strength got to $2-$3 but it looks like it's back to its normal place. I might be biased because I play steel song though

Just getting back into Lorcana after taking a 2 month break - I also think Jim is in a pretty decent place cost wise. It was my spice in set 3 set champ with one copy of RLS and served me well. Might do it again for set 4 as emerald has a hard time dealing with it.
The Jim Hawkins does seem pretty good to me. Im pretty new to lorcana trying to slowly work on building a sapphire steel gonna try playing in my first lorcana tournament next week. I mostly play yugioh though
Really like Ursula, especially with store champs. Enchanted under 100 feel like its a good price to pick up to own one/ 1/2 ofs in AE tempo? Rage and Bare are so versatile love steel song even tho kinda overlooked in current meta.
Amber does need some better cards, bad legendaries last two sets. Jim Hawkins was my chase card in inklands and I bought a playset foil at 25 each. Can't believe it fell off as hard as it did. My wishlist for set 5 is another two lore 1 drop card, preferably in sapphire or steel.

Floodborn ursula seems like such a good card, especially if/when songs become even more relevant.

Bare necessities is a banger card. I use 4 copies on all my amber decks no exception.
