    Awesome video, August. I've always been amazed at the things you put your gopros through and to hear that you've never broken one is a testament to their toughness! Maybe you should post this video to their facebook page!

    Slice cut is known as a dart cut here in England. Beautiful job in this video - great one for advertising being roadside.

    Another good one August.
    Loved the perspective/angle at 2:39, had to watch it 2 or 3 times to "get it".
    Also, the "testimonial" at 8:13, I can very much relate to that..... ;~)
    Oh yeah, and the closing shot, really good stuff.
    And yes, I caught all the back and forth on the Sena units. I would love to get a set of those and I don't even have a full time groundy.
    Thanks August!
    See ya at the EXPO! :~)

    I do a cut similar to your slice but with a thin notch. It allows the top to tip out a bit before slipping off the spar. I call it a slip cut. Just make sure everything is lined up.

    Loved this video for all of the information and entertainment! We used the Sena system and it was AMAZING! Merle was using the BIG saw and the noise cancelling allowed us to converse without any saw noise. The voice quality was clear, better than our home land line! Great ending . . .

    Congrats, your vids just keep getting better...wish I bought gopro stock back in July...they should def compensate you somehow...free gear...break this camera challenge...there are commercials of people shopping with their phones while surfing, catching passes one-handed...I think it's samsung? Anyway I could see you ordering something on your phone while spiking a top...haha. Hey, is there any use for that wood...was it cedar? for milling etc..

    • @AugustHunicke
      @AugustHunicke  10 років тому

      kencanoe Thanks Ken. I hope to finally get noticed by GoPro at some point. Yes cedar. The mill not taking cedar at the moment, I don't think. It's rarely taking cedar. Plus I would need a crane to get it out.
