I started climbing/watching you after the end of the UK lockdowns, about a year ago, and honestly, your climbing ability has come on massively 🙏🏻 In strength, and so much in technique!!

At around 10:00, I think the reason you were having trouble with the start might be that you're not opening your hips. If you watch Anna, she's opening her hips by pointing her toes out, which allows her to bend at the knees, which in turn allows her to get a bit lower on the handholds. When you did it your toes were pointing in, which means your knees have nowhere to bend except into the wall, so you can't get as low on the slopey hold. Of course this is beta from the internet, which is even worse than beta from the ground, so feel free to assume I'm completely wrong!
Oooh, really interesting analysis. Luckily for me, the problems are still up at the gym so I can go back and try getting lower on the holds that way! Definitely felt like I was stuck using the method I was, so hopefully that cracks it!
