- Child Labour is a crime. When a child is asked or forced to do work that interferes and deprives him of his childhood activities like playing and studying. Childhood is a part of a human life in which he enjoys the pleasures of life and parents love and pampering, he is not supposed to be earning, making building, breaking stones at that very age.
To raise awareness and to prevent child labor, “World Day Against Child Labour” is celebrated on 12 June every year. It is an International Labour Organization sanctioned holiday.

I am appalled to experience the same while visiting a devout Christian couple's house in Dimapur. Two underaged kids were working in the house barefoot during peak winter, wearing ragged clothes. They were scolded and mistreated even in my presence, worst of all, the couple's small girl showed the same attitude towards them. Even animals don't deserve to be treated like this.
It is shameful that we take pride in calling ourselves Christian.

I am literally crying. Thank You "Dreamz Unlimited" for bringing up this pertaining issue. Indeed there are so many people in our society who treat their helpers much worse than an animal. Poor parents send their children mostly for education to towns and cities hoping for their children to get better education but instead of educating them well many so-call maliks force them into hard labor - to work like donkeys whole day without giving any time for study and when they fail they'd say he/she is dumb, not brilliant, lazy to study etc. It's my belief "if we cannot educate the least of these children and take good care of them then God will also certainly repay our children with the same".
Christianity or as a matter of fact, religion is not just about halliluya and praise the Lord. The real faith lies in being humane and treating others as we would expect them to treat us. it is about loving others as ourselves.
Again, I've come across people who give only the leftovers and the eatables they don't like forcing those helpless to eat as if they are animals. The helpers in our home are also human beings with needs and feelings. They do feel hunger, thirst, cold and heat and a body that needs adequate rest. let us be mindful of those around us if we want God to be mindful of us.

Sadly I remembered about last month one a konyak boy commit suicide he was working as like achik but we don't know about his problem how it happened
Especially konyak younger brothers N sisters are working out in place and staying with others tribes I feel bitty on them even me I belong to Konyak hope our people understand how they treat to our younger brothers and sisters

It really broke my heart today when I saw a a little girl carrying garbage in the plastic bag and that garbage was bigger than her self..I almost cried seeing her and i helped her throwing that garbage and gave her some few amount to buy a chocolate.
A girl her age should be loved and cared properly by their family. They are just a little kids who don't even know how the world works and they are being forced for hard labour.
