- In this video I will be showing you how to get legendaries guns. shields, class mods, and grenade mods fast and easy!
This guide is using the legendarie loot midgets farm. This guide is mainly targeted towards the newcomers of the borderlands 2 or borderlands the pre-sequel via the handsome collection.
A legendary could still be your best weapon for the next 8 or so levels. So definitely worth farming a little

got the nasty kerblaster at level 8. was the best gun I had until level 19. Never a bad time to find some orange
It’s actually true. I have a level 54 Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold and I’m level 65. Its the main weapon I use
Have a level 6 unkempt Harold that I’m using still at level 33
@@slippington if you're in uvhm with a gun 9 levels behind and you're still kicking ass with it, Jesus Christ it must be all good parts. I would recommend farming for more dpuhs and if you get one better than your current one it'll help a lot more.
Dude what? Legendaries are cool AF. Getting them at whichever level is like the best feeling. Mostly if you're not farming and it's like pure dumb luck.
Raquel Chavarría legendaries or even rares aren't always good. Flynt's tinderbox at the beginning is a blue and arguably one of the worst pistols in the game.

Another important thing is DO NOT HOLD E to pick the ammo from the box next to these, it will also pick the blue radio thing
So only farm legendaries when max level? So basically when you’re done with the game? Thats not really fun at all.
No UVHM so around level 50 so at that point you still got 20 or so hours left

@EFKA Ltu enemys don't scale on TVHM. They only scale on UVHM
Reach Max Level the way you preffer, farm itens but not ALL of then, like me, just a good The Bee and Maggie with Zero do the things until 80 on Ultimate, after this, aim for maximum overpower level, and, when you gotta reach overpower 6+, you'll need to farm every time you reach one new overpower, if you do op levels with a friend, you could farm less.
I think the best borderlands 2 loot I’ve ever had was when after killing flynt I received a legendary pistol, and I was only level 4
Yeah he drops the Thunderball fist sometimes. It is my go to pistol, just got to be careful with OP level versions the explosive after effect can easily down you.

Have fun with the hornet its not old because its corrosive element which normally dosent spawn until mid NVH mode, so if you havent already sold it use it for critical hit damage and corrosive damage effect

Had bl2 on the ps3 but bought goty on steam. Played as Krieg a few hours ago since I wanted to try a different character other than Axton since he is mah main. First kill on boom bewm with a friend I got the bonus package. Doc Mercy first time we got infinity. Killed Assassin Wot first time we got a bladed Emperor and then a few minutes later after killing the last assassin we got a Skirmish Emperor. Much luck for the first time of Borderlands 2 in many years

Cory Allen No it's a bug where that particular floor can swallow up items. Throw items down and they can just disappear through the floor never to be seen again.
Do not 'trade' in that area, someone will lose their shit

Most important thing he doesn’t say is to save and quit after you kill them to farm them again.
it’s ok to farm before you’re max level, but if you want legendaries at max level you just have to farm again
Yeah, it doesnt make sense what he says - a level 4 legendary can be fun and effective till level 28. Meanwhile you might just get another one and have even more fun

Btw if you have ultimate vault hunter pack 1 and 2 which is $5 each you can get pearls from them. Also nobody really says this in the videos, for the Legendary loot midgets, you haft to be on ultimate vault hunter mode.
no you don't. They are just more likely to spawn. They spawn on normal and VHM just fine.

Haven't played in a while but I remember this particular thing quite well... I also remember I never had that kind of luck with legendaries popping one-per-midget. Kudos man, that's awesome.
Funny thing is, I got the Explosive Fastball at lvl 8 from Boom (or Bewm?) as Krieg as a World Drop. It was effective until level 28 or so. Worked really good with the skill that heals you with every overkill damage or however that was called.
Edit: Added that I got it as a World Drop.

The truly easy farm is Savage Lee. He has a decent drop rate and gives good xp. I actually dinged a couple times while farming him and got 5 different flavors of the Harold. As for the conservation farm... I Spent a day farming those midgets only ever dropped the epic relics. The only legendary was from a chubby/tubby skag. I'll try again in op1 but in uvhm it seems to have a ridiculously low drop rate for legendaries. All three midgets spawn but no legends.

Getting the babymaker and madhouse first try while fighting the bosses made my days.
I saw the hellfire smg and was like "NICE" because even at level 50 with a 50 bee shield i knew how OP that gun can get.
I got an Unkempt Harold at lvl 8 with krieg, I used it FOREVER
I got the infinity when I was lvl 7

I got an infinity at level 15 but I didn't know how rare it was so I sold it when I over leveled it
I have 3 legendarys on my zero one is by the gernade mod orange by killing boom bewm i got on my 2 try and infinity pistol and elemental gun.
axton i had one from killing knuckle dragger and i didnt expect he drops legends he dropped a orange elemental gun i was hAPPPY and then i got the gernade mod THEN I WAS MADNESS FACE
I got a cutting slagga (Level 14) at level 12
im level 20 now (on xbox 360) and i still use the gun
if you mainly play zero a good trick is:
when running through the fields (or whatever they are called) with all the skags and stuff go invisible to run past all of them it saves alot of health and time.
Nice, 11 legendarys in 10 runs (30.min) including Thunderball fists, Conference Call and Shredifier

I'm level 37 and I just got my first legendary shield it's the bee shield other than that I've had 2 legendarys one from boom bewm and the other was called the hornet
Already knew the method I recommend for new borderlands 2 players you almost can get any legendary item BUT not all of them I recommend farming legendaries before fighting Bunker Saturn and Warrior and try to make it -2 levels you are current or the current level to have it max usefullness
lol don't farm for legendary till max level. Nobody does that

i think it helps when you first enter ultimate. My lv 50 axton has a lv 50 bee, lv 48 DPUH, and sheriff's badge. I cut through captain flynt pretty easily when in ultimate mode. without the harold, i would have died 50 times probably. it's easier with the transition to ultimate when you have a couple of good ones at hand.

Really? I started farming at level 11.
if you turn to the left from the spawn by the annex then you can farm tamon and pumba for the deliverance shotgun and the transformer shield. by far the best place to farm for legendary weapons. although low level legendary weapons are still nice to have if you are going to play though on different characters. you can just put them in claptraps stash spot and trade between characters. I can play though the whole game and always have a legendary item equipped.
luckily me and the boys are exactly on the wildlife preservation
I think farming legendaries early is good bc I farmed an unkempt Harold at level 10 and it one shot enemies till ab level 22 then I farmed loot midgets and got guns that Carried me til true vault hunter mode but that’s jus my opinion

There is a quicker way, make it to the respawn station in the building that the super badass loader spawns from and you can quit and re-enter to farm it.
Slightly, it is the respawn station before exiting the building with the badass skags.

you can only respawn from door ways and fast travel stations you cant save and quit from a new u station
About halfway through the Wild life preservation, there is the Natural Selection Annex. If you have that DLC (should come with the collection) you can use that as a spawn point, and farm the super badass load, AND the loot midgets.

Always farm savage lee in three horns divide as well as boll for fastball grenade and unkempt Harold for early and late game as of them being two of best weapons in my opinion

Bunker does not drop the Conference Call. The Warrior does.
He meant that he was farming bunker, and instead of one of bunker's normal drops, he got the conference call. The only legendary's its supposed to drop at high drop rates are the Bitch and the Sham, whilst it ends up dropping other legendary's more often...

I usually open all 4 boxes at once, throw 2-3 grenades like the bonus package/storm front/bouncing bonny and gtfo.
I have found a Level 9, Level 14, and Level 21 Rapid Infinity. I've since sold the lower two and given the highest one to my sister, (Level 29) but they're not bad finds.
My first play ever and I got KerBlaster from MidgeMong - level 4 legendary. Didn't even imagine how lucky I was.
It Happened twice to me i Beat the normal Mode and midgemong got the Ker Blaster and then i started the true vaulthuntermode and guess what i killed midgemong and got the Ker Blaster 🤣

Yeah and what was weird I got the Infinity at level 8 or 9 and then I farmed it again and I got a higher level but I like the one I farmed at the lower level. I wish I could get that double infinity.

Picking up the echo means the midgets aren't almost 100% guaranteed. So farming those boxes after picking up that echo is pointless.
They'll still spawn if you pick up the echo. It's only if you complete the quest. If you pick up like 2/4 echoes, they'll still spawn. I've got two and I still farm the midgets.

on PC the natural selection annex is a pre order travel point and to open it you can either Gibbed it or play with someone who pre ordered
I've gotten over a hundred legendary items from this. If it starts dropping bs reset uvh.
I have a Cobra a twister and a Norfleet plus the Ogre. But for new people this is a good way to grind gear so you can get one/any of those.
What level is the norfleet?
It works on pc, you just can't complete the mission
old but i heard that when i first got bl2, and its more fun playing with obsolete legendaries and switching them between characters.

What's the point of leveling up if everything else levels up?
I know this is old but I wanted to comment on a point you made early on in the video. I myself just got the game so everything is new to me. But the point I wanted to talk on was the idea of only getting legendary weapons when you max out... but I myself like to get legendary weapons in borderland for all levels. Why? So I can share them with my son who loves to play the borderlands games but really prefers to have enhanced firepower as he is doing it.
Having legendaries at various is awesome if you plan to have multiple characters. I had a play through for every character on my PS Vita

found it difficult to understand what was necessary to do, because you didn't explain anything. You just said you need the dlc, "oh here's another problem - I don't think that works for PC. There's some way to get around it but I think it involves modding your save or some such like that so - yeah".
I have no idea what you mean. If you're targeting newcomers with this video, you need to explain what quests they need to know, what NOT to do, what difficulty setting etc.. Any parameters that will hinder the farming, any tips to speed it up, any info on what is likely to spawn where, etc, just as much info as possible so people can follow your narrative and understand you.
I'm not stupid, but I found it difficult to keep up with what you were saying because it was very much out of context.
agree, video was super rushed. But it is 2 years old. For this trick to work you simply have to get to the point in the story where it asks you to go to the wildflife exploitation reserve, then you talk to Tannis for the "doctors orders" quest. This'll trigger the "exploit" for you to infinitely farm the midgets. The legendary drop rate is significantly reduced from them on your first two playthroughs, ie; probably not worth the time unless you're behind on xp.
also, when you open the boxes DO NOT pick up the notes in said boxes. Also, open ALL boxes on the way there, they ALL have an increased chance to spawn loot midgets. Legendary loot midgets are guaranteed on UVHM, but can be found on normal and VHM ....just super rare.

What I do is farm the unkempt harold around level 10, after beating normal, another at 50, then again at max level along with other legendaries once max. One of the best pistols and super easy to get.

Getting to max lvl doesn't mean you have beaten the game. In Borderlands 2, there is a difficulty where all enemies are 8 levels above you, and there are also so many dlc for borderlands 2 some of them very hard in op 8, and it's always nice to have a legendary to make it a bit easier.
because. Loot of course! ....but ya. mostly just do it to help you get through UVHM. or at least START UVHM. UVHM enemies are sponges, and annoying. The OP difficulties aren't even worth going into if you do not have a raiding party.
Raid bosses. Actually most of the best guns in the game are blue rarity. Like the Grog nozzle, sandhawk, pimpernal, and of course tiny tinas dlcs have amazing blue class mods that fit most builds

Maybe it has to be in Ultimate VHM.I just found ordinary loot midgets in four boxes which drop nothing else but ammo in TVHM.

It takes like 48 hours to go from 1 to max in a speedrun then grinding bosses varkids or just using glitches usually can go from 1 to like 50 in 40 minutes with a glitch took me a day to get max legit but any level u are its always useful to pickup or even farm a bit for legendaries
Their is a reason farmable bosses exists in Borderlands 2.

If you do enough, a level 7 Infinity from Doc Mercy can last you until True Vault Hunter Mode.

Things I hate when you drop your good loot there's always that one idiot to forget to put invite only so someone joins and you have like 200 legendarys to pick up and half of it gets stolen

F***k the curveball! Give him the heater Ricky! 😊 The fastball was my best find. That 15,000 in damage helps out for many levels while leveling up.
