    👏Congratulations on your single-handed feat! That showed a lot of ingenuity👍 I do have to say that I was cringing as you were banging that log...that's really hard on the swing tower to do that sideways like you did. I know you were trying to be gentle about it, (and yes I know this was a one time thing) but in all reality $800 for an extension would be peanuts compared to the repair bill you could have created. Please don't get in the habit of doing that OK? I want to see you continue to succeed and not cause issues for yourself😊😊😊 Stay safe and prosper Chad.

    Woodland sells blades specific for hardwood. You might be using their all-purpose blades which are more for a softer wood. We ran into the same problem until we switched over and we were able to mill a lot more. Other than that you're doing great buddy. Keep up the good work!

    • @HiddenSpringFarm
      @HiddenSpringFarm  2 дні тому +1

      @@charfmander I have a hardwood blade on. The first blade that came with the mill cut 15 logs before I started having difficulty pushing thru. But those logs had been sitting for like 1-2 years. I just felled this tree and this is a new blade but I still had difficulty pushing it thru at times. Gotta be because of the wet wood right? Could it be another reason on the mill? I haven’t milled anything since this log so I won’t know til then. I think it’s a good idea to fall a bunch of trees and let them sit cause the blade went thru those like a hot knife they butter.
