    One problem I encounter is the quantity of the best basic Russian words to learn. Some of these lists are like 100 words, or 500 words, a thousand words, and I have even seen one that had 10,000 words. It would seem to me that a list of 100 words is a good place to start and those 100 words need to be very useful in conversation and not just knowing how to say hi or the number one or any other such words that may not be useful in conversation.

      There is an official document that states an amount of words you have to know. On the first A1 level it’s 780 words.
      I’ll make another video about it. Thank you for raising that issue.

      @@blinschool7993 It would be nice if you had a link to a site that shows those 780 words. Better yet, if there was a downloadable Excel or Word file.

      Hello, well, I lived in Russian community that is gone now as far as I know. So unfortunately I can not introduce you to anybody in particular:(.
      I used to live in Damascus. Where do you live?
      Sigh. Such a beautiful country. I miss it!
