- My name is Sean, i have been living Full Time Van Life in the Sprinter van again for around 3 months now.
I started this lifestyle because of my 20 year broken relationship.
Ive started to put my life back together and build for a future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years ive converted a Standard V6 long wheel base van to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van with Siri and Alexa as my companions and driving off-grid into the country and living life and moving forward .
I would like to thank all the new subscribers and a personal thank you for all your lovely comments and wishes. The sprinter has all sorts tucked inside and links below may help you in your van life adventures.

Fantastic, no glamour or fancy music, love it mate , van life reality ❤
Love your mentality❤. Keep it up Sean😊!
Hopefully my motorhome will have a nice new MOT Monday so will be down your way from Wednesday night until Sunday morning if you fancy a beer 👍
I didn’t even hear the noise till I read the comments but then I’ve got tinnitus so! Always enjoy your honesty fella. You do you. Cheers.
You need a fire be it in the van or out side to sit round and have a beer or two, absolute game changer something to gaze into and just turn off pluss so homely
Another great video Sean..Love your van..we have an old vivaro with a basic set up for days away etc. Keep up the good work. Stay lucky...
Happy birthday Sean, have a good one 🍺🍾
Thank you so much, you’re both amazing people ❤️❤️
The noise is from the diesel heater cos its cold, thanks for all you love and super awesome support . lots of luvs Sean ❤❤
I've said it before and I'll say it again genuine and that's it,you are 💯 van son 💙
Hope you're doing OK Sean. Totally genuine, how it really is. Yeah none of our vans are tidy. But we know where everything is haha. Got to look after number one Buddy, Take Care 🙏
Love you van dad ❤️
Cheers mate, be great to catch up again
Be really careful with the beers mate, you can lose your licence if you are parked up with no intention of driving, but a tiny bit over the limit in your van. That's one more hassle you don't need. And good luck with it all.
Do you buddy ,,,,, keep believing in you
We are who we are, if people don’t like us as we are, then fuck em I say
💯
Exactly why I like you Sean your real mate & bollox to the rest
You are THE ONLY TRUTHFUL campervan channel out here that speaks the truth! Ive NEVER watched the others after watching just 1 of their videos because its Clear they speak total nonsense and THEY are out to make money. Respect Shaun & All The Best. Dont turn like the others Bro you stand out above them & rightfully so.
Thanks buddy that means a lot, kind regards 👊
Ive used they gas stoves for the last 3 years until I bought the MH. But im selling the MH and gonna do another van build. I'll be minimal electrical as we charge stuff with split charger. You are such a nice bloke and people try to take advantage of that. So now it's time to be selfish Sean. Keep us updated on the operation bud. ❤
I've been full-time for 8 years now. First 5 I had hook up but last 3 I've been fully off grid. I just don't get the idea of not having gas. I have 3 lpg stations near me and a big underslung tank so I've not fallen for the UA-cam fad of all electric. Cannock just doesn't have enough sun.. 😏 Keep smiling mate and look after number 1.. 👍
Brave video sean , but I think you still miss your family which is understandable the transition into van life from family life was a tough one not to mention the health problems. All the problems are coincidental with living in the van so it would be easy to mention living in a van but your van is a great space to live in . You can’t help yourself helping others that’s who you are don’t fight it to much things will go your way soon , it be blue skys and silver linings . Me and your viewers can fix every problem you encounter sean but I can tell now, you won’t face them alone . Soon be Christmas brother
Thanks for keeping it real,Sean mate, miss you on bookface. I. Currently in penzance, would be ace to meet up after Christmas and New year
BTW Where's Teddy?
TLDR: It's cold, cramped, inconvenient, more expensive than you think and living in a parking lot is noisy and prone to scary interaction.
This is brilliant pal, you're bang on.
Just be yourself in all your ways, be genuine. It's what a other genuine people want to see.
Forget the UA-cam b.s that many others go along with, we know it's all show.
I wish everyone on UA-cam or any platform would just do as you are now doing. It's the only way to live in my opinion.
All the very best 👌
Sean, I watch lots of clean vans Lifers and it always makes me Laugh. (When I visit friends in there van & see the mess of real lifes it makes me happy) good luck sticking it too the man
Save me a Malteser please mate 😂
See you next weekend x
I’ll treat you to a box ❤️
Really enjoy your HONEST videos Sean. EVERY person thinking of going full-time van lifing, should watch your no-nonsense true to life videos. It aint all fancy views, lovely meals, plentiful water and power supply, peaceful park-ups yada yada yada. Keep your pecker up Sean, god bless ya.
Cheers mate 👍👍
Good video Sean. Keeping it real. Those maltesers wouldn't last long around me though.
To be fair I scoffed the lot 👍👍👍
Good to see you back on the road ,as they say you want something fixed do it yourself I am an ex mechanic I have given up on garages ripping you off or getting it totally wrong have a great weekend
🙋♀️ The 'hum' was awful ... turned the sound down and put subtitles on .. .
You are right - two types of van lifers Doom and Gloom or Everything's Wonderful ‼️😂😂 that's not real life is it?
Your down to earth chat is refreshing Sean, and I wish you all the best for your hospital visits and operation 😢😢
Nice to be in a mess now and again when you can't be bothered to tidy up - but you will when it overtakes your life‼️😄😄
I think the 'helping others' has to be paced ... but defo "me first" as no-one else is gonna look after you 👍 and only help those that appreciate it. Learning to say that very little word can be hard at first but it's just two letters "no"
Enjoy the rest of your weekend - stay safe 💟
The Hum was the Diesel heater 👍👍
@@ProjectCamper 🙋♀️ yes, I guessed it was, but a little overpowering nonetheless! Good vid 👍👍🤗
I'm loving your honesty and down to earth. My advice to you is something I do. Make a list of everything a person would need to live comfortably in a van. Tick off everything you already have and highlight what you need. I believe this will help your doubts and insecure feelings.
Good advice ❤
Nice to see you are ok sean ,keep up the good work not that BS that a lot of youtubers are
Exactly Lee, well said.
I enjoy your videos...finally a you tuber who knows they need gas in the winter, a revelation. I am a full time vanlifer and I luv it and have done so much since i started this live. I have 2 x 110 AGM and have no issues with power as i use gas....good luck mate
The piss bottle 😂
well spotted 🤣🤣
Keep going mate, your doing amazing, full time vanlife isn't Instagram 😃👍
Not wrong brother 👊
Similar situation here (although I am 70) with an all electric part completed van and after just one week living in it, I have realised that my 525w of solar and 430ah of lithium don't mean anything if there is no sun. I worked out that to keep on top of my battery situation by driving, I would have to spend £60 per week on fuel. So I think that I am going to buy a genny. I know that will be unpopular with a lot of people, but I spend at least part of my week near to a busy road and so I am sure that nobody will hear it, and a similar amount of charge can be got from about £6 of petrol.
Anyway - I have subscribed and will now work my way through your previous videos. Best of luck to you... Maybe see you on the road on day :)
Most generators only have a small 4-7 amp output via its 12 volt output, hence I purchased the victron ip22 charger that gives 30amps so just plug that into it 240 output to charge the van battery. A small generator can easily run the victron charger and soon be back up to 100% in around 3-4 hours, then only having to top it up daily after. I did the math so completely understand the situation . I hope winter will be kind to you and I thank you so much for watching, kind regards and best wishes 👍👍👍👍
Hi, I guess van life is what you do expect of it. Many think that it all involves the glorious life like people see on Instagram, UA-cam etc, all positive, no negatives, beautiful sight seeings. Living in nature, debt less, careless. How wrong can you be? Van life in my opinion, and I assume you have to look at it like that, van life is an alternative way of living. Normal life just goes on, paying less, but the same bills etcetera. Van life can be awesome, but keep the reality in sight! It can be rude, chaotic and really hard at days!
Took my sprinter to mercedes in lincoln they not got a clue just tried to sell me expensive parts i didn't need
Then took it to a well known auto electrician which was cheaper by the way a lot cheaper they found the fault and cured in a couple of hours mercedes just want ya money in this town anyway
Hi Sean, alwauys a pleasure to watch your vids. I am tired of all the 'bling-bling' instragram based vids, that make vanlife out to be paradise on wheels. I don't want that. I want the raw and realistic, down to earth warts and all video. And that is what you provide. Well done mate. That shower is coming along, looking great too. I have watched all your vids since the transit build, but can't remember if you installed a split relay/charger to your sprinter? As that will top up your 300A lithium battery when driving. They're only about £80. If you already have one, the alternative is to increase your solar panel power. I have 2 x 455W Candian Solar panels, providing nearly 1kW. I only got this to help with our short days in winter. Each panel cost me £166.67 each from Bimble Solar, which I use for my solar projects. Anyways, thanks as always mate, stay safe pal. Chris.
❤
Really sorry but the back ground noise was too much for me
yes sorry it was cold so had the diesel heater on.
My battery is not hitting it now either 😢
I’ve never had full capacity 🤬
Sound is not good...from Ur mike
Thank you I’m trying to find a good mic if you can recommend one 👍👍
Who do you normaly be ?
Amazing video things you said are true and the advices you gave are from personal experience and are valuable Real Life not just UA-cam concentrate on yourself, yes , that is the best conclusion amazing shower this will be an amazing van 🚙🌟just anything to show the real life situations helps people who will take the same path ...🤩🍮🌃🌟🌠
Much better bro. Real.
👍👊
