When calculating the BP, why do you divide the total load by 1m and 0.6m? then shouldnt the BP has a unit of kN/m^3?
Therefore, to get the area or dimensions of a footing, we equate it to (column load including its own weight + soil weight above the footing + weight of footing) / allowable soil bearing capacity?

Great video but there is always a case where the periphery walls on the property line are eccentrically loaded. What is done for a safe design in that particular case?
In that case, you'll need to change the size of the foundation.
Wrong calcs in units unfortunately, although great video. Also not factored for simple check.
