- So cool to see hpi racing bring back their popular WR8 with the 20th anniversary 2001 Driver's Championship WRC Subaru Impreza. Here are both the 3.0 Nitro and Flux side by side + driving styles.
This one is for the rally fans ;) That blue and yellow livery is one of the most iconic in the sport.

Great clip bro. I stuck a gopro on the under side of my transmitter so I can film and drive. That nitro HO engine sings hey. Remarkable. I'm here running the flux version on 2s and it's plenty. Love marking a course through the trees in my park and seeing the sway and body roll as I wind through the course. It's an incrédible rc

Awesome video, thank you. It's great to see them side by side - I love how realistic the suspension drives. I am lacking the experience, but the Nitro just drives so cool! I was only reading (viewing, really, it is 2022) on electric RC cars, but I guess I should take a serious look at Nitro. Thanks again. Do you plan any more videos on these two (if you still have them)?

Damn I wish I got the gas version but don’t really have a spot where ppl wouldn’t complain. But the electric version is a blast to drive as well. Also I raised my body post so the body sits even higher this helps with bumps n jumps so body doesn’t smash floor. Doesn’t look bad at all for the added benefit of driving
Agreed I love both equally but nitro is so much fun
I just bought a losi brushless truck. Luckily I haven't used it. Gonna return it, and buy this. I really wanted Nitro anyways.

Boss i love this video, this is what made me turn to the Nitro side!! I have one and am on the 1st tank of full use, i turned needle and still quite smokey, but it so fast for me, i dont need it any faster so i can leave it quite rich? it has great throttle and idle

I know with the electric version you can make adjustments with the spur and pinion gear to achieve even faster speeds. Can this be also done with the nitro version? Them small antenna on the roof...nothing but Realism

Got both the flux and nitro versions of this already with Fiesta shells and wondering where I can get the Subaru shell to go on one of them 🤔 it looks great.
Seen another review with same comments about the hole in windscreen on the nitro car for cooling but think you’ll find this is mainly for refilling the fuel tank without needing to remove the body shell 👍
I think hpi will start selling them separately soon. Yes the hole is multi use for cooling re fueling etc :)

Hello, good or bad spending the same amount, between this electric rc and the infraction 3s BLX arrma, which I think you have tried, which one would you recommend? Or what other 1/8 RTR to use on asphalt or dirt, always of high quality, fast and with good driveability? Thank you.

You need to tune your idle and lsm till it stops keeping a high idle at rest

Also think HPI’s stock receivers are some of the nicest designs. The ones included by other companies are ugly AF. Always likes HPI as a brand.

Always perferr nitro because its more real like the real thing! And you can build any nitro faster than a brushless
