I remember this dude was a buddy of my fathers. We hung around him a bit when I was younger and I remember my mom playing his music and what not, but never really made a big deal of it. Him and my dad would just shoot the you know what. Was talking to my wife about our culture and decided to look him up and had absolutely NO IDEA he was this big lol.

I love listening to it while I am typing up gradually my Diaries from my life of ten years in Jamaica from 1999 to 2009. Music helps because some of the memories are painful and sad while others are wonderful. My children and grandchildren do not know the facts and it is only I who can record them truthfully and my notebooks have been preserved through hurricanes and storms of both weather and life and I know God has kept me alive for a reason. Because many people still have to live like that in this world through no fault of their own. The Jamaican people are resilient but many of them have a raw deal while their Government only cares about the welfare of Tourists and only interested at Election time about the peoples lot in life. Life is still very rough for many ordinary Jamaican people held down by Poverty and unable to rise above it. I agree with your comments, the conquistadores of Andes civilizations had proving nothing. The trail of blood can not be erased. Their greed for the Andes golds was doomed before the first volley of fire was fired because the already thriving culture and their civilization was almost reached its golden peak - their golds, continue to shine up to now. Their conquest and its bloody episodes in the Amazon tribes continue to hound them up to the present time.
As the river crosses the rocks the melody stays along side the rivers flowing current of emotion and feeling the water as if it is nothing to fear for the water does not fight but only goes along the rocks as if to have no confrontation
