I really like this technique. The finished marbled look reminds me of a saran wrap manicure but using the stamper seems much quicker! Can't wait to try it myself.

Love this technique. I hated using a sponge as it soaks up so much polish when I'm doing a gradient. Will have to try doing it with the stamper!

I have purchased 2 different stamping kits, I'm just not good at it. But, watching you do this, makes me want to practice harder, using your techniques. I am having difficulty stamping with ladies who have a strong C curve.
Don't give up. Stamping takes practice, we all go thru it. Believe me, at first, when I started, I just wanted to store them away, but now I want more and more plates... haha. Try using a softer stamper like a jelly. Ladies with a strong C love those types of stamper. A soft and squishy stamper.

I have a pretty nice collection of plates, & love doing nails, hair, AND makeup. ALWAYS been my dream.. but my ole man, he's always come first. So just always put those goals of mine on hold to make him happy. Not wanting him upset with me ever trying to better myself.
So I just play with my stamping & nail art things stuck in my house.
My dude has always been the type to not support my dreams.

love this technique so pretty. Can I ask a question? Is it possible to stamp a nail using a gel polish? I haven't tried it myself but was wondering if by chance you have tried it? TIA
+Maria Valencia Thank you! You can stamp on gel. There is two things you can do. Stamp before applying your top coat then cure. Or you can stamp after you finish all the gel steps. Then apply a regular top coat, that way you can remove it and stamp another design. (I hope you understood that) Also I find that Gel polish is too thin. You will have to use a stamping polish. I am currently playing around with Shellac, you can see pictures on my Instagram.

My nail stamps NEVER come out this nice. Special polish or regular, firm or squishy stamper it doesn't matter. What's your secret?

Evelyn Guadalupe Saavedra Morales Hola Claro que puedes usar Esmaltes regulares. Busca esmaltes espesos y bien opacos. :) Esos trabajan de maravilla. Toma tiempo de estampar tus esmaltes de seguro tienes mucho en tu colección. Intenta con esmaltes metallicos. Suerte.

Is the rectangular stamper a born pretty stamper? Also, my images smear when applying top coat, is there a secret to doing this? I wait awhile to dry too, and it still happens.
rawreen Yes it is from Born pretty store. The trick is thick top coat. Gently glide your brush over your nail, never pass it over twice. Be generous with your top coat... meaning pick up a big amount on the brush. Do not apply pressure, just gently glide the brush. As I said before a thicker top coat works better because it provides a barrier that will help your brush not touch your nail... I hope that makes sense... :)
