You should not compare an original 64 with the analogue, but rather compare an HDMI modded one or even a RGB modded one. Modded console which will output 1080 natively will run you about $300 to $400. RGB modded is a tad cheaper, but you still need to add in a scaler in the mix to get 1080. even more to ger 4k. Waste of money unless your one of those people who need to have everything physical. You'll get everything and more with emulation for free.
If it was able to play super nintendo games as well I would buy it in a second but it looks like it's just N64 games.
This is a great style the N64 I used to have a original onewhen I was little it was like 2009 and I used to play Mario 64 and Banjo and Kazooie on it. nowadays sometimes I play mario 64 switch And the Banjo and Kazooie games are on Xbox as well
250 is what the old n64 was new
Can you use game shark?
I’m def getting it
I have retrotink 4k, will this analogue 64 look better.
Thats all i want to know but no one writes hahahaah
$250 for a N64 replica is crazy...Soon to be $99
Nah everyone who knows Analogue products knows it's going to sell out fast.
@@Zombiekiller-bc7ud - Its not going on sale, its going on Pre-order, so everyone can pick one up.
Analogue products never goes down in price
Nah it'll never get a price drop. They'll make them until demand drops low and discontinue them forever. These aren't easy or cheap to make.
@@shepardcommander9960 They should be cheap to make, its a glorified raspberry pi with a case that looks a bit like an N64...
I'm definitely buying one of these.
I wish analogue would quit it with limited releases. The real fans want these consoles and can never get them because of scalpers
Just imagine a ps2 with wifi 6 built in. Plz make it. And make a socom knock off. Or imagine a og xbox remade. Or ps3!!! Gamecube
Aspect ratio???
to bad is no RGB out no 240p
I feel like this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
They made an NES and SNES and Nintendo did nothing.
@@Fonz128?
@@dsquared341the can’t lol
Instant day 1 buy
So nobody has bought it yet?
Wouldnt nintendo sue them?
Like they did with the other consoles? 🤡
@@tboneplisken4086 If Nintendo hasn't sued, it's only because they're not aware that this exists. They don't really have people watching the markets of English-speaking countries. They've sued over people making fanfic UA-cam videos dressing up as Zelda. There is NO WAY they won't sue once they hear about this.
@selohcin thanks Mr. Nintendo. I will be sure to listen to everything you say because your opinion is on the spectrum of God ,and you can not be wrong. Thanks! MR.NINTENDO 🤡
I wish that the new N64 system comes out with Call of duty for the first time ever
Why even do videos for this company you know they’re only gonna put out a certain number of these and then never release another one again so there’s no point in getting a whole bunch of people hyped up for a console. They’ll never get their hands on.
Bro you dont even get a remote. They also dont show pics of gameplay or a video.
When project64 is avaliable for free and will run on basically any pc its hard to even justify this. Orginal n64 with remote and game will run you about 120-160$ usd for a decent unit. Then mabye 32$ for the diy hdmi mod if you wanted that.
I see ones on the internet selling for about 200$ already modded and region free.
The math isnt mathing. I think they have invested in Too much galaxy gass 😵💫😵💫😵💫😂😂
It should be 100$ for the console. And the 40$ for the remote is a good price. Depending on how the buttons feel and how much lag it has.
So like all in with tax 180$ for device with controller would be a much better sell price. I feel like this will flop in the first year or two.
Then once they get down to 100$ or less ill give it a try.
I’ll give 250 for it I love n64
$250?
Ain’t no way Nintendo lets them sell this. I guess we’ll see. I’d like a new reliable console to play n64 cartridges.
Why not? They sold other stuff, like the Analog Pocket. Nintendo didn't get mad when they sold that.
@@roflBeck I never even heard of analog before this, you guys are all talking like they’re something major lol.
@@dsquared341 They've been making stuff for years man. The Analogue Super NT and Analogue Mega SG are FPGA based systems made by them that let you play your Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis games on them in HD. They are a reputable company and people love their Analogue Pockets. I haven't tried their products before but considering their reputation as a company that makes quality products and I'm a big N64 fan I may just buy this.
To give Analogue credit, while not everyone likes the company, they do the work to reverse engineer products. Kevtris was one of the first who did it with the NES/Famicom and custom chips and then made it work on a FPGA. Nintendo is getting a little over zealous with lawsuits lately but as long as it's clean FPGA code, there's not much they can do. Other than take the inspiration and make their own official updated N64 but they seem to have no interest in supporting their legacy consoles.
@@dsquared341if youre a retro gamer yes, they are something major and have released fpga versions of consoles for almost 10 years. You live under a rock?
I don't like the controller.
Yeah it "feels" better but doesn't feel good wasting money LOL
I already have 20 N64 game carts so I'm def getting this
250 an no controller? That's expensive
Yeh not sure why there’s no controller included
@@JacobRTWO
That has always been the case with Analogue. The whole idea is that you will use the original controller
How are they not getting sued by nintendo?
They surely will be once Nintendo gets wind of this. I give it three months before these things are no longer sold.
They can’t
I love it, but its a little overpriced, imo...
PS2 please!!!
Don't show us this garbage unless you are going to show graphics.
🗑
analogue..... 3d. ya fam that name is trash
cool I need one
Anyone wanna bet how long this runs before Nintendo sues them?
I'm betting 4 months after launch.
I don't think they can, even because otherwise they would have already done that with the Analogue Pocket
lol they cant
They would've sued them years ago for the NES and SNES consoles
It’s there own hardware built from the ground up it says. So unless they could prove that it isn’t and they copied Nintendo past a certain extent, nothing they can do.
Nintendo will deffo buy one and take it apart just to see what chip and motherboard it's got. If it's got any nintendo things in there you can expect nintendo will go after them. They did the samething to microsoft and threatened a lawsuit because it was leaked you could jail break the original xbox and play emulators one of them was the n64 nintendo tried to sue. They will prob try every avenue to get these products stopped. And analogue could be treading on ice here with nintendo because what about the hacked n64 multicarts you can buy from ali express nintendo will go crazy over this product wait and see!
This looking like a lawsuit waiting to happen
Nah FPGA has been a thing for a while and it's never been an issue
not likely, they already made a NES and SNES not to mention the latest Analogue Pocket which is a GameBoy! You must have been living under a rock! XD If they were gonna get sued they would have been years ago!
Nope the patent expires after 25 years so anybody is free to copy the machine.
Why? The Analogue NT Mini plays original NES carts. The Super NT plays Super Nintendo games and the Analogue Pocket plays GB, GB Color, and GB Advance games. Those have all been out for many years...no lawsuit.
Overpriced garbage. They don’t even give a single controller.
Awesome 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This reminds me of the ouya
Not even in the same universe dude. Analogue is highly respected.
Says the guy who knows jack about analogue. Analogue makes quality fpga consoles. They've been doing it for years. Its not made for peasants, so good luck getting one.
@@synth505 😂😂😂 i don't want that bullshit
Waste of money and looks trash. I had N64, and the console was trash.
No thanks. Much rather buy more precious metals (gold/silver) and further fatten up the investment portfolio.
