Actually Rosé is more Australian than Kiwi. She was born in Auckland, New Zealand but she was raised in Melbourne, Australia. She has two citizenships of S.Korea as well as Australia. And Rosé and Lisa are of same age. They both are actually youngest and very close to each other. Rosé is older than Lisa by just a month. If you want to know more about Blackpink then you should watch their Netflix original documentary "Light Up the Sky" which they recently released last month with their full album. That documentary is the best way to get to know about each member. It highlights their past struggles and hardships, predebut life and personalities and many more. And another fan made documentary I will suggest to watch is The Revolution: A Story of Blackpink by Asian Theory UA-cam channel.
Actually you are wrong there, she holds S. Korean and New Zealand citizenship. She spent kind of the same amount of time in N.Z. and Australia respectively 7 years each.

My bias is also Jennieee!!!! Like her duality always gets me. I remember once I was watching a cute compilation of her not knowing what I was getting myself into, and I literally teared up because how adorable and tiny baby she was. But at the same time, she's also the savage and badass one in the group. Like how. Not to mention, she's the ace of blackpink. Even gdragin himself had called her the ace and weapon of blackpink. She can rap, sing (her versatility within vocals is insane, you'll see it into heir full album), dance, lyricist, composer, producer, cook, fashion icon, sold out queen, IT girl of Korea, also a really good shooter, knows horse riding, also the unofficial leader of blackpink. I can't with her. She's taken my soul and I'm not complaining. But just so you also know I'm an OT4 too, because it's insane how much I love these four girls.

BlackPink is one of the few groups I stan that I haven't been able to settle on a bias. Another group that fits that criteria for me is Mamamoo. I actually had the pleasure of seeing BlackPink perform live when they toured North America last year. The show I attended was in Newark, NJ and was the one where Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance and performed "Kiss and Make Up" with them.

It's my favorite track of the album, well, all songs are great tbh; there is how you like that, which is a perfect opening to the album, although many didn't like that drop, I got used to it quickly and now I think it's really catchy, especially the 'look at you now look at me' part is iconic! Then we have ice cream, which also received a lot of mixed opinions, some people hated it and had a big problem with the song not having a real chorus, some loved it and think that Selpink collab is the best thing that happened this year in K-pop and some people (including me) just like it, don't necessarily LOVE it, but think it's a good song. I think the 'look so good yeah look so sweet' is very addicting. My only small issue with the song are the lyrics, well they're not their best, but ok. Pretty savage is the next song on the album and it's the song that kept playing in the guide (Jisoo's rap, the live stages, Jennie's rap...) and it's the definition of a Blackpink song. It's cool, it's badass, it has a crazy beat and the drop hits hard. Honestly one of my favorite tracks on the album. Bet you wanna is the collaboration song with Cardi B and I have to say, it's actually really nice. I mean as expected, lyric-wise it's more Cardi B's style I guess. She had a really cool rap part and it fits the song very well. Rosé slayed with the vocalsssssss! Especially in the last chorus! Heavenly. And then, of course the title track, Lovesick girls. It's such a good song, seriously. From the instrumental, the melody, the styling, the line distribution etc. ,it's amazing. It also shows a different side from Blackpink I haven't heard in a while. WE GOT MAIN RAPPER JENNIE BACK! And Lisa and her owned that whole rap section. Rosie's emotional voice makes the song 100x better and queen Jisoo slayed a usual, especially in the bridge. The next song is crazy over you and tbh i had to get used to the chorus at first, because it's so different! The song fully in English and I think Jisoo did really well, even tho she's not fluent. I love how the verses are in a lower register and especially Jennie sounds amazing! Well like I said, a kinda 'weird' chorus, because you expect a hard hitting drop, but they slow it down and this 'e e e e e e e e' threw me off at first, but I grew to like it a lot now. And then there's love to hate me, which-like I said- is my fav song. Because I LOVE the melody, especially in the pre-chorus and the instrumental is amazing. What also makes me like it the most is the 'pre chorus' that seems like the actual chorus and then the real chorus which is super catchy and it's not 'just' and empty beat drop with just instrumental (not that that's bad). The last song on THE ALBUM is you never know. It's an important song for BLINKS,because they talk about hardships as a trainee and artist with lines like 'cause everybody sees what they wanna see, it's easier to judge me than to believe' especially because Jennie sings it, who constantly got hate for her 'lazy dancing' back in 2018/19. it's an amazing way to end the album. All in all I really recommend to react to the whole album, it's worth it, believe me.
