Great display ! I was a lighting director for years just using the par 64's and aircraft landing lights. I really like the more compact filament bulbs, led's and software. What's a ball park figure for this setup please ?
Thank you very much! Some of the best rock concerts used Par64's and ACLs for years. I also love tungsten filament lamps! I often believe simple is best, but no doubt I enjoy using automated fixtures too! In regards to your question, which setup do you mean, the one in the video or the one you suggested? If it's for your one, then check out second hand lighting sites, also big lighting hire/sales companies often sell off used equipment when they get new stuff. I think I got 12 large tungsten pendant lights for a couple of hundred pounds brand new including holders and cable, plus you can pick up old LED pars very cheaply second hand. Lighting console wise, you only need a simple console to operate this equipment which again you could probably pick up relatively cheaply second hand. obviously bare in mind that you would also need dimmers for the filament lamps. Couldn't really give you a price estimate without knowing quantities and whether it would be used in a venue with existing dimmers etc. Hope this helps.
Robotics is cool with lights !
Yes, I do like the animated lights. I have a few myself I use in the mancave.
Note to self; Always remember to hit the mute button whenever the neighbors walk by at 1:50-1:57 😭💀
