Hard to say can Austria make to quarterfinal becase Austria have 1 game left its Great Britan but Finland have 2 games left so are Olympic Chmpions Finland comes out it not.

Before the tournament I saw them beating only GB but now they are close to the next round.
It would be awesome if Austria would make it into the playoffs, but as a finnish i also want Finland to make it. Anyways Austria has played very well and im happy for their success.🇫🇮🤝🇦🇹

@matyassiegel1732 I'm not sure about clueless. Olympic gold and bronze, 3 IIHF gold 1 silver, one WJHC gold under his belt. But I guess Finnish audience is slightly disappointed ATM.
But still five victories in a row will result in a happy ending.

Austria is very underappreciated. There are some gems in Austrian hockey. Dieter Kalt played in Swedish league team, FBK, when they won gold in 2002. Dominik Fursch as first goal tender won gold with FBK in 2022.
Ok so now It looks like Finland is out of the playoffs because we don't beat Switzerland and Denmark. Haha that's crazy
even if Finland beats denmark they get 10 points so Austria just has to beat GB
@@gaaag7611yeah. So we must beat both, Switzerland and Denmark. And I think Switzerland is better team this year. Finland has never had it so bad in modern hockey. 😂
In case Finland beats Denmark and then does not lose in regulation they will be in quarterfinals. They need 4 points in 2 games but it will be hard against Switzerland. Might end up like Sweden in 2021. Not gonna lie, I'm rooting for Austria, they are having some miracle on ice this year.
@@rivality100 No, you don't have to beat both. You need 4 points, which means a regular time win (3 points) and an overtime loss (1 point).
@@gaaag7611 Austria has to beat GB and Finland has to beat Denmark and then they can lose in OT with Switzerland. If they lose in regulation then bye, bye Suomi.

В последний раз Австрия побеждала Норвегию на ЧМ по хоккею аж 25 лет назад. В далёком 1999 году со счётом 3:0. Причём, Норвегия играла дома.

Congratulations Austria. Ouch, painfull!! You deserve this victory 100% though. We Norwegians played like cowards in the first half of the game, and we decided to start attacking in the third period. The Austrian's tactical plan made logical sense, and our plan was absolute dogshite! Once agian congrats!! You guys deserve a quarterfinal this season, and we Norwegians deserve relegation. Best of luck with further progression Austria.
Norway's player roster has been a group with a lot of individual qualities, and this team "on paper" should have managed better results. When that said, our lines has become worse and worse for each game. This roster is probably the best player roster in years considering player ability. Unfortunatly Norway has had poor strategy, poor preperation and poor execution in every game. Norway played a lot better as a team last year. The Denmark game this season was our best match, and we were lucky that Denmark played below average.
Agian Herb Brooks quotes becomes relevant:

"You're playing worse and worse every day and right now you're playing like it's next month."
"You don't have enough talent to win on talent alone"
"Risk something or forever sit with your dreams"
"The name on the front is a hell lot more important than the one on the back"
Our match vs GB is gonna be tough, and in my opinion they have played better than us this year. We Norwegians has got more experience, but GB has less pressure, and they play with more passion and their group seems to have the atmosphere of a real team. Looking at the Norwegians, I see individuals with low confidence and a coach that seems clueless at the moment. The entire season has been a waste of time. I think GB will win, it will break my heart. However at the same time, I would be very happy for them if they succeed survival once again (like they did vs France a few years ago).
This was by far the more entertaining of the two early games today. Well done, Austria. Again.
Jersey grab on Zuccarello should have been called, and if it had Norway might have had a last minute chance as they were pressing pretty hard.

Think again. If Finland lose in regulation time against Denmark or Switzerland, they are out. Provided Austria win against GB. Which is not a given, but rather likely.
